ଯେତବେେଳେ ବାଳକଟି ପଳାଇଗଲା, ଦାଉଦ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଚିଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପର୍ବତର ଅପରପାଶର୍‌ବକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇଲା। ଦାଉଦ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟଆଇଁ ଯୋନାଥନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତିନିଥର ପ୍ରମାଣ କଲା। ଦାଉଦ ଓ ଯୋନାଥନ ପରସ୍ପରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଚକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ବନ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଉଭୟ ମଧ୍ଯ କାନ୍ଦିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଦାଉଦ ଯୋନାଥନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଧିକ କାନ୍ଦିଲେ।

ଯେତବେେଳେ ବାଳକଟି ପଳାଇଗଲା, ଦାଉଦ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଚିଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପର୍ବତର ଅପରପାଶର୍‌ବକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇଲା। ଦାଉଦ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟଆଇଁ ଯୋନାଥନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତିନିଥର ପ୍ରମାଣ କଲା। ଦାଉଦ ଓ ଯୋନାଥନ ପରସ୍ପରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଚକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ବନ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଉଭୟ ମଧ୍ଯ କାନ୍ଦିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଦାଉଦ ଯୋନାଥନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଧିକ କାନ୍ଦିଲେ।
