Deuteronomy 9:4
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତଡି ଦଲୋପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି କକ୍ସ୍ଟହନାହିଁ ଯେ, 'ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଧାର୍ମୀକତା ୟୋଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏହି ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏପରି କହିଛନ୍ତି।' ଯେ ହତେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଟତା ସକାଶକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତଡି ଦବେେ।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ନିଜର ପବିତ୍ର ଲୋକ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନିଜ ବଳ ରେ ତାହା ହାଇେ ନାହିଁ। ବରଂ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଜେ ଇଚ୍ଛାକରି ଓ ନିଜର ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ନିଜ ଲୋକ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସହେି ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ମାଧ୍ଯମ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନାଦି କାଳରୁ ମିଳିଛି।

କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତିଗଣ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ସଂଖ୍ଯକ, ତାହା ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ ଯେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କଲେ ଓ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସବୁଠକ୍ସ୍ଟ କମ୍ ଥିଲ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହିସବୁ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କୌଣସି କ୍ରିଯା ଦ୍ବାରା ନିଜକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ଦୂର କରୁଅଛୁ, ସମାନେେ ଏହିସବୁ କ୍ରୀଯା ଦ୍ବାରା ଅଶୁଚି ହାଇେଅଛନ୍ତି।
Genesis 15:16
ପୁଣି ଏହି ଦେଶକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶର ଚ଼ତୁର୍ଥ ପୁରୁଷ ଫରେିବେ। କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ଇ ମାରେୀଯମାନେ ଏଠା ରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାପ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଶଷେ ହାଇନୋହିଁ।
