Daniel 7:1-8 in Oriya

1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

1 ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ବେଲ୍ଟଶତ୍ସରଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ବର ପ୍ରଥମ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ଆପଣା ଶୟ୍ଯା ଉପ ରେ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଓ ମାନସିକ ଦର୍ଶନ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ। ସେ ସହେି ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ରେ ସାରକଥା ଲେଖି ରଖିଲେ।

2 ଦାନିୟେଲ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ରାତ୍ରିକାଳ ରେ ମାରେ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଲି ଯେ ମହାସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପ ରେ ଆକାଶର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରୁ ବାଯୁ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ତ ବଗେ ରେ ବହିଲା ସହେି ବାଯୁ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଅଶାନ୍ତ କଲା।

3 ପୁଣି ମୁଁ ଦେଖିଲି, ଗ୍ଭରି ଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାରର ବୃହତ୍ ପଶୁ ସମୁଦ୍ରରୁ ଉଠି ଆସିଲେ।
And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

4 ପ୍ରଥମ ପଶୁଟି ସିଂହ ସଦୃଶ ଓ ଉତ୍କ୍ରୋଷ ପକ୍ଷୀର ଡଣୋପରି ତା'ର ଡଣୋ ଥିଲା। ମୁଁ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରି ଦେଖିଲି, ତା'ର ଡଣୋ ଉପୁଡାଗଲା। ଆଉ ସେ ପୃଥିବୀରୁ ଉଠାଗଲା। ମନୁଷ୍ଯପରି ଦୁଇ ପାଦ ରେ ତାକୁ ଠିଆ କରାଗଲା ଓ ତାକୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଦିଆଗଲା।

5 ଆଉ ତତ୍ପ ରେ ମାେ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ପଶୁକୁ ଦେଖିଲି ଯେ କି ଏକ ଭଲ୍ଲୁକ ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଏକ ପାଶର୍‌ବ ରେ ଉଠାଗଲା ଓ ତାହାର ସୁଖ ରେ ଦନ୍ତ ମଧିଅରେ ତିନିଖଣ୍ତ ପଞ୍ଜରା ଥିଲା। ତାହାକୁ ଏହି କଥା କୁହାଗଲା, 'ଉଠ, ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ମାଂସ ଭକ୍ଷଣ କର।'

6 ଏହାପ ରେ ମୁଁ ତୃତୀୟ ପଶୁକୁ ଦେଖିଲି, ସେ ଚିତାବାଘ ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲା। ତା'ର ପୃଷ୍ଠ ଭାଗ ରେ ପକ୍ଷୀର ଗ୍ଭରିଡଣୋ ଥିଲା। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ତାହାର ଗ୍ଭରି ମସ୍ତକ ଥିଲା ଓ ତାକୁ ଶାସନ କରିବାକୁ ଅଧିକାର ଦିଆଗଲା।

7 ଏହାପ ରେ ମୁଁ ରାତ୍ରିକାଳର ଦର୍ଶନ ରେ ଦେଖିଲି, ମାରେ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ପଶୁ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଅତି ଭୟଙ୍କର, କ୍ଷମତାସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ଓ ଅତିଶଯ ବଳବାନ୍ ଥିଲା ଓ ତାହାର ବଡ ବଡ ଲୌହର ଦାନ୍ତ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଦୋଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା ଓ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲା। ଆଉ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଯାହା ରହିଲା ତାହା ପଦତଳେ ଦଳିତ କଲା। ସେ ପୂର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସବୁ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଭିନ୍ନ ଥିଲା ଓ ତାହାର ଦଶଟି ଶିଙ୍ଗ ଥିଲା।

8 ସହେି ଶିଙ୍ଗଗୁଡିକ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ, ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ଶିଙ୍ଗ ଉଠିବାର ଦେଖିଲି। ତାହା କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଥିଲା ଓ ଏହା ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଶିଙ୍ଗମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ତିନି ଗୋଟି ଶିଙ୍ଗକୁ ସମୂଳେ ଉତ୍ପାଟିତ କଲା। ଏହାର ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ଚକ୍ଷୁତୁଲ୍ଯ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଥିଲା ଓ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଶିଙ୍ଗ ରେ ଏକ ପାଟି ଥିଲା। ସହେି ପାଟିଟି ଅହଂକାରପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଥା କହୁଥିଲା।
I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
