Acts 8 - BBE (Oriya)

1 And Saul gave approval to his death. Now at that time a violent attack was started against the church in Jerusalem; and all but the Apostles went away into all parts of Judaea and Samaria.ସ୍ତିଫାନଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଯେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ, ଏହା ଶାଉଲ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିଥିଲେ।

2 And God-fearing men put Stephen's body in its last resting-place, making great weeping over him.କେତକେ ନିଷ୍ଠାପର ଲୋକ ସ୍ତିଫାନଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦେଲେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବହୁତ କାନ୍ଦିଲେ। ସହେିଦିନ ୟିରୂଶାଲମ ରେ ଥିବା ବିଶ୍ବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଭୀଷଣ ତାଡ଼ନା ହେଲା। ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯତୀତ ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ବାସୀ ୟିହୂଦା ଓ ଶମିରୋଣ ଦେଶର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ ହାଇଗେଲେ।

3 But Saul was burning with hate against the church, going into every house and taking men and women and putting them in prison.କିନ୍ତୁ ଶାଉଲ ଘ ରେ ଘ ରେ ପଶି ପୁରୁଷ ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଟାଣି ଆଣି କାରାଗାର ରେ ରଖିଲେ ଓ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ।

4 But those who had gone in flight went everywhere preaching the word.ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଛିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ହାଇଯୋଇଥିଲେ, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଚ଼ାରିଆଡ଼େ ଯାଇ ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର କହିଲେ।

5 And Philip went down to Samaria and was teaching them about Christ.ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ଶମିରୋଣ ନଗରକୁ ଯାଇ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରଚ଼ାର କଲେ।

6 And all the people gave attention to the words which Philip said, when they saw the signs which he did.ସଠାେକାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କର କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା କରାଯାଇଥିବା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସବୁ ଦେଖି ତାହାଙ୍କ କଥା ରେ ଅଧିକ ମନ ଦେଲେ।

7 For unclean spirits came out from those who had them, crying with a loud voice; and a number of those who were ill and broken in body were made well.ବହୁତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଭିତ ରେ ଭୂତମାନେ ଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବାହାର କରି ଦେଲେ। ବାହାରକୁ ଆସିବା ବେଳେ ଭୂତମାନେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବର ରେ ପାଟି କରୁଥିଲେ। ବହୁତ ପକ୍ଷାଘାତୀ ଏବଂ େଛାଟ ଲୋକ ମଧ୍ଯ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ହେଲେ।

8 And there was much joy in that town.ଏଥି ୟୋଗୁ, ସେ ନଗରର ଲୋକମାନେ ବହୁତ ଖୁସି ହେଲେ।

9 But there was a certain man named Simon, who in the past had been a wonder-worker and a cause of surprise to the people of Samaria, saying that he himself was a great man:ସହେି ନଗର ରେ ଶିମାନେ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଥିଲା। ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ସଠାେକୁ ଆସିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଶିମାନେ ଯାଦୁଖଳେ ଦଖାଇେ ଶମିରୋଣର ବାସିନ୍ଦାମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିସ୍ମିତ କରିଦଇେଥିଲା। ସେ ନିଜକୁ ବଡ଼ ମହାପୁରୁଷ ବୋଲି କହୁଥିଲା।

10 To whom they all gave attention, from the smallest to the greatest, saying, This man is that power of God which is named Great.ତେଣୁ ସାନ ଠାରୁ ବଡ଼ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତେ ଶିମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦେଲେ। ଲୋକେ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ଲୋକଠା ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତି ଅଛି। ଯାହାକୁ କି 'ମହାନ ଶକ୍ତି' ବୋଲି କୁହାୟାଏ।

11 And they gave attention to him, because for a long time his wonder-working powers had kept them under his control.ଶିମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବହୁତ ସମୟ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଯାଦୁ ବିଦ୍ଯା ରେ ମୁଗ୍ଧ କରିପାରୁଥିବା କଥା ସମସ୍ତେ ଶୁଣିଲେ।

12 But when they had faith in the good news given by Philip about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, a number of men and women had baptism.କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କଠାରୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଓ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତି ବିଷୟକ ସୁସମ୍ବାଦ ଶୁଣିଲେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କ କଥା ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରି ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ହେଲେ।

13 And Simon himself had faith and, having had baptism, he went with Philip and, seeing the signs and the great wonders which he did, he was full of surprise.ଶିମାନେ ନିଜେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହା ବିଶ୍ବାସ କଲେ ଓ ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ହାଇେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହିଲେ। ସେ ଅସଧାରଣ, ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଓ ଚ଼ିହ୍ନମାନ ଦେଖି ବିସ୍ମିତ ହେଲେ।

14 Now when the Apostles at Jerusalem had news that the people of Samaria had taken the word of God into their hearts, they sent to them Peter and John;ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନେ ୟିରୂଶାଲମ ରେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଯେ, ଶମିରୋଣର ଲୋକ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଖକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

15 Who, when they came there, made prayer for them, that the Holy Spirit might be given to them:ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ସଠାେରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଶମିରୋଣ ବାସିନ୍ଦାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ ଯେପରିକି ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ପାରିବେ।

16 For up to that time he had not come on any of them; only baptism had been given to them in the name of the Lord Jesus.ସମାନେେ କବଳେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ କାହା ଉପରେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଅଧିଷ୍ଠିତ ହାଇେ ନଥିଲେ।

17 Then they put their hands on them, and the Holy Spirit came on them.ତା'ପରେ ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିଜ ହୀତ ରଖିବାରୁ ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ।

18 Now when Simon saw that the Holy Spirit was given through the touch of the Apostles' hands, he made them an offering of money, saying,ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନଙ୍କ ହାତ ରଖିବା ଦ୍ବାରା ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବୋ ଶିମାନେ ଦେଖିଲା। ତେଣୁ ଶିମାନେ ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଟଙ୍କା ଯାଚି କହିଲା,

19 Give me this power, so that when I put my hands on anyone he may get the Holy Spirit.ମାେତେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହି ଶକ୍ତି ଦିଅ, ଯେପରିକି ମୁଁ ଯାହା ଉପରେ ହାତ ରଖିବି, ସେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ପାଇପାରିବ।

20 But Peter said, May your money come to destruction with you, because you had the idea that what is freely given by God may be got for a price.ପିତର ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଟଙ୍କା ସବୁଦିନ ପାଇଁ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇଯୋଉ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭାବିଲ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦାନ ଟଙ୍କା ରେ କିଣି ହବେ।

21 You have no part in this business, because your heart is not right before God.ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୃଦୟ ନିର୍ମଳ ନଥିବାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଓ କାମ ରେ ଭାଗ ନଇେ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

22 Let your heart be changed, and make prayer to God that you may have forgiveness for your evil thoughts.ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହୃଦୟ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏହି ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହାଇେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର। ହୁଏତ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୃଦୟ ରେ ଥିବା ପାପ ଚ଼ିନ୍ତାକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିପାରନ୍ତି।

23 For I see that you are prisoned in bitter envy and the chains of sin.ମୁଁ ଦେଖୁଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ମନ ରେ ତିକ୍ତତା ପୁରି ରହିଛ ଓ ପାପ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ କରୁଛି।

24 And Simon, answering, said, Make prayer for me to the Lord, so that these things which you have said may not come on me.ଶିମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଥିବା କୌଣସି କଥା ଯେପରି ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁ ହେଁ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର।

25 So they, having given their witness and made clear the word of the Lord, went back to Jerusalem, giving the good news on their way in a number of the small towns of Samaria.ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନେ ଶମିରୋଣର ଅନକେ ଗ୍ରାମ ରେ ଶୁଭସମାଚ଼ାର କହି ୟିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଫରେିଗଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଫରେିବା ସମୟରେ ଶମିରୋଣୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ବହୁତ ଗ୍ରାମ ରେ ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ପ୍ରଚ଼ାର କଲେ।

26 But an angel of the Lord said to Philip, Get up, and go to the south, to the road which goes from Jerusalem to Gaza, through the waste land.ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୁଅ। ୟିରୁଶାଲମରୁ ମରୁଭୂମି ଦଇେ ଯେଉଁ ରାସ୍ତା ଗଜ୍ଜାକୁ ଯାଉଅଛି, ସହେି ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ଯାଅ।

27 And he went and there was a man of Ethiopia, a servant of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, and controller of all her property, who had come up to Jerusalem for worship;ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହାଇେ ବାହାରିଲେ। ସହେି ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ଜଣେ ନପୁଂସକ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ଦଖାେ ହେଲା। ସହେି ନଫୁସକ ଇଥିଓପିଆରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ସେ କାଣ୍ଡାକି ନାମ୍ନୀ ରାଣୀଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପଦସ୍ଥ କର୍ମଚ଼ାରୀ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ଥିଲେ। ନଫୁସକ ଜଣକ ଉପାସନା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ୟିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଯାଇଥିଲେ।

28 He was going back, seated in his carriage, and was reading the book of the prophet Isaiah.ସେ ରଥରେ ବସି ଫରେିବା ସମୟରେ ଭାବବାଦୀ ୟିଶାଇୟଙ୍କର ପୁସ୍ତକରୁ ପଢ଼ୁଥିଲେ।

29 And the Spirit said to Philip, Go near, and get on his carriage.ସେତବେେଳେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେ ରଥ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଇ ସଠାେରେ ରୁହ।

30 And Philip, running up to him, saw that he was reading Isaiah the prophet, and said to him, Is the sense of what you are reading clear to you?ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ରଥ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ୟିଶାଇୟ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କର ପୁସ୍ତକ ପଢ଼ିବାର ଶୁଣିଲେ। ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚ଼ାରିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ପଢ଼ୁଛ, ତାହା କ'ଣ ବୁଝିପାରୁଛ?

31 And he said, How is that possible when I have no guide? And he made Philip get up by his side.ସେ ନଫୁସକ କହିଲେ, ଯଦି କହେି ଏହା ବୁଝିବାକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ତବେେ ମୁଁ ଏହା କିପରି ବୁଝିବି? ତେଣୁ ସେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କୁ ରଥରେ ଚ଼ଢ଼ି ନିଜ ପାଖ ରେ ବସିବାପାଇଁ ଅନୁ ରୋଧ କଲେ।

32 Now the place in the book where he was reading was this: He was taken, like a sheep, to be put to death; and as a lamb is quiet when its wool is being cut, so he made no sound:ସେ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରର ପାଠ କରିଥିବା ଅଂଶ ଏହା ଥିଲା:

33 Being of low degree, his cause was not given a hearing: who has knowledge of his family? for his life is cut off from the earth.ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅପମାନିତ କରାଗଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧିକାର କାଢ଼ି ନିଆଗଲା। ଏହି ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଜୀବନକାଳ ଶଷେ ହେଲା। କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବଂଶ ବିଷୟ ରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବ?ୟିଶାଇୟ 53:7-8

34 And the Ethiopian said to Philip, About whom are these words said by the prophet? about himself, or some other?ନଫୁସକ ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମାେତେ ଦୟାକରି କୁହ, କାହା ବିଷୟ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଏହା କହୁଛନ୍ତି? ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିଜ ବିଷୟ ରେ କହୁଛନ୍ତି ନା ଆଉ କାହା ବିଷୟ ରେ କହୁଛନ୍ତି?

35 So Philip, starting from this writing, gave him the good news about Jesus.ତା'ପରେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରର ସହେି ବାକ୍ଯରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ।

36 And while they were going on their way, they came to some water, and the Ethiopian said, See, here is water; why may I not have baptism?ସମାନେେ ଏହିପରି ଯାଉ ଯାଉ ଜଳଥିବା ଗୋଟିଏ ଜାଗା ରେ ପହନ୍ଚିଲେ, ଓ ନଫୁସକ ଜଣକ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ଏଠା ରେ ତ ଜଳ ଅଛି।

37 []ଏବେ ମାରେ ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ହବୋର କିଛି ଅସୁବିଧା ଅଛି କି?

38 And he gave orders for the carriage to be stopped, and the two of them went down into the water, and Philip gave him baptism.ତା'ପରେ ସେ ରଥ ରଖିବାକୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ଓ ନଫୁସକ ଦୁ ହେଁ ଜଳ ଭିତରକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଗଲେ ଓ ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେଲେ.

39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord took Philip away; and the Ethiopian saw him no more, for he went on his way full of joy.ସମାନେେ ଦୁ ହେଁ ଜଳ ଭିତରୁ ଉଠି ଆସିବା ପରେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ଫିଲିପ୍ପଙ୍କୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ନଫୁସକ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ ଦେଖିପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ଖୁସି ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାଟରେ ଚ଼ାଲିଗଲେ।

40 But Philip came to Azotus, and went through all the towns, preaching the good news, till he came to Caesarea.କିନ୍ତୁ ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ଅଷ୍ଦୋଦ ନଗର ରେ ଦଖାଦେେଲେ ଓ କାଇସରୀଆ ନଗରକୁ ୟିବା ବାଟରେ ସବୁ ସହର ରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ପ୍ରଚ଼ାର କରି ଚ଼ାଲିଲେ।
