Isaiah 59:16
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦେଖିଲେ କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥ କହେି ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେଲେ। ତେଣୁ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଜ ବାହୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ସାଧନ କଲା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ହିଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କଲା।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ସବୁ ସଡ଼କରେ ବୁଲି ଦେଖ, ଚାରିଆଡ଼କୁ ଚାହିଁ ବୁଝ। ତହିଁର ଛକସ୍ଥାନ ସବୁ ଖାଜେ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜଣେ ନ୍ଯାଯପରାଯଣ ଓ ସତ୍ଯାନୁସରଣକାରୀକୁ ପାଇବ, ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେ ନଗରକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବା।
Isaiah 64:7
ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ପୂଜା କରିବାକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ଉତ୍ତଜେିତ କରିବାକୁ କହେି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିମୁଖ ହାଇେଅଛି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାପଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷଯ କରିଅଛ।
Isaiah 63:3
ସେ ଉତ୍ତର କରନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏକାକୀ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷା ମର୍ଦ୍ଦନ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ କହେି ନ ଥିଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଜର କୋରଧ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦଳନ କଲୁ ଓ ନିଜର କୋପ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦନ କଲୁ। ଏଣୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରାଣ ରକ୍ତର ଛିଟା ରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ରଞ୍ଜିତ ହେଲା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ରକ୍ତ ରଞ୍ଜିତ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କରିଅଛୁ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆସିଲା ବେଳେ କାହିଁକି କହେି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ନ ଥିଲ ? ଆମ୍ଭେ ଡ଼ାକିଲା ବେଳେ କହେି ଉତ୍ତର ଦବୋକୁ କାହିଁକି ନ ଥିଲ ? ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ କ'ଣ େଛାଟ ଯେ ତାହା ମୁକ୍ତ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ ? କିମ୍ବା ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭର କ'ଣ ପରାକ୍ରମ ନାହିଁ ? ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଆଦେଶ ରେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଶୁଖିୟାଇପା ରେ ଓ ନଦନଦୀକୁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର କରିଦଇେ ପାରୁ। ସେଥି ରେ ଥିବା ମତ୍ସ୍ଯ ଜଳ ଅଭାବରୁ ତୃଷାର୍ତ୍ତ ହାଇେ ମରିଯିବେ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ହବେ।
Isaiah 41:28
ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନାଇଲା ବେଳେ କହେି ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କଲା ବେଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧିଅରେ କହେି ଜଣେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦାତା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଉତ୍ତର ଦବୋକୁ ନାହିଁ।
