Isaiah 38:11
ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବିତମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶ ରେ ଦେଖିବି ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ଏ ଜଗତ ରେ ଜୀବିତମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦେଖିବି ନାହିଁ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କଲ। ମାରେ ଲୋତକ ବନ୍ଦ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଝୁଣ୍ଟି ପଡ଼ିୟିବାରୁ ମାେତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର।
Ecclesiastes 9:5
ଜୀବିତ ଲୋକେ ମରିବେ ବୋଲି ଜାଣନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନେ କିଛି ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କିଅବା ସମାନେେ ଆଉ କୌଣସି ଫଳ ପାଆନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିଷଯକ ସ୍ମରଣ ବିସ୍ମୃତ ହୁଏ।
