2 Samuel 19:16-23 in Oriya

16 And Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite, which was of Bahurim, hasted and came down with the men of Judah to meet king David.

17 And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went over Jordan before the king.

18 And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king’s household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;

19 And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

20 For thy servant doth know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.

21 But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the Lord’s anointed?

22 And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?

23 Therefore the king said unto Shimei, Thou shalt not die. And the king sware unto him.

16 ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟରୀମ ନିବାସୀ ଗଲରାର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନୀଯ ଶିମିଯି ଶୀଘ୍ର ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାରସଲାକମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗସର ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭଲଟିବା ପାଇଁ ଆସିଲଲ।

17 ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର 1,000ସଲାକ ଶିମିଯି ସଙ୍ଗସର ଆସିଲଲ। ସୀବଃ ଶାଉଲ ପରିବାରର ଦାସ, ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କର ପନ୍ଦର ଜଣ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓସକାଡିଏ ଜଣ ଗ୍ଭକରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିଲଲ। ଏ ସମସ୍ତସଲାକ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀ ପାରସହାଇ ରାଜାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ୟାଇଥିଲଲ।

18 ସଲାକମାଲନ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀ ପାରସହାଇ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଦୀ ପାର କରି ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲଲ। ରାଜା ଯାହା ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲଲସଲାକମାଲନ ତାହା କଲଲ।ସଯଲତଲବଲଳ ରାଜା ନଦୀ ପାର ହୋଉଥିଲଲ,ସସହି ସମୟଲର ଶିମିଯିର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଗଲରା ରାଜାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଲା। ଶିମିଯି ଆସି ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖସର ଭୂମିଷ୍ଟ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲା।
And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king’s household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;

19 ଶିମିଯି ରାଜାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲା, ସହ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁସମାର ପ୍ରଭକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ମୁ କରିଥିବା ପାପ ବିଷଯସର ଚିନ୍ତା କର ନାହିଁ। ଆପଣ ୟିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଶାଲମ ଗଲାପଲର ମୁସଯଉଁ କକ୍ସ୍ଟକର୍ମ କରିଛି ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସ୍ମରଣ କରନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନାହିଁ।

20 ଆପଣ ଜାଣନ୍ତିସଯ ମୁ ପାପ କରିଛି।ସଯଉଁଥିପାଇଁସଯାଲଷଫର ବଂଶରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମୁ ପ୍ରଥମ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି, ମୁ ଆଜିସମାର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭଲଟିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲି।

21 କିନ୍ତୁ ସରକ୍ସ୍ଟଯାର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଅବୀଶଯ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା, ଶିମିଯିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଲମ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ମାରିଦଲବକ୍ସ୍ଟ କାରଣସସ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶାପସଦଇ ଅଛି।

22 ଦାଉଦ କହିଲଲ, ସହ ସରକ୍ସ୍ଟଯାର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମୁ କ'ଣ କରିବି? ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଲଭମାଲନସମାର ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧସର ଅଛ। ଇଶ୍ରାଲୟଲସରସକୗଣସିସଲାକକୁ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦିଆୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଜି ମୁ ଜାଲଣସଯ ମୁ ଇଶ୍ରାଲୟଲ ଉପଲର ରାଜା ଅଲଟ।
And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?

23 ତା'ପଲର ରାଜା ଶିମିଯିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲଲ, ତୁମ୍ଲଭ ମରିବ ନାହିଁ। ରାଜା ଏହା ଶିମିଯି ନିକଟଲର ଶପଥ କଲଲ।
Therefore the king said unto Shimei, Thou shalt not die. And the king sware unto him.
