2 Kings 3:1-3 in Oriya

1 Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years.

2 And he wrought evil in the sight of the Lord; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.

3 Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

1 ଆହାବ୍ଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ୟିହୋରାମ ଶମରିଯା ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ବ କଲେ। ସେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ୟିହୋଶାଫଟଙ୍କର ଅଷ୍ଟାଦଶ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ବ କାଳ ରେ ରାଜା ହେଲେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ରେ ବାରବର୍ଷ ରାଜ୍ଯ କଲେ।

2 ସେ ଏପରି କୁକର୍ମ କଲେ, ଯାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଥିଲା। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଓ ମାତାଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ନଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିବା ବାଲ୍ର ସ୍ତମ୍ଭଗୁଡିକୁ ଦୂର କରି ଦେଲେ।

3 ତଥାପି ନବାଟ୍ଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ୟାରବିଯାମ ଦ୍ବାରା ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ପାପରେ ଆସକ୍ତ କରାଇଥିଲେ ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ପାପଗୁଡିକୁ ଆସକ୍ତି ହେଲେ। ୟାରବିଯାମ ଏହି ପାପଗୁଡିକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
