2 Kings 25:4
ସର୍ବଶଷେ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ସୈନ୍ଯ ନଗରର ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ଭଗ୍ନ କଲେ। ସହେି ରାତ୍ରି ରେ ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାଗଣ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ୟାନକୁ ଲାଗି ଦୁଇଟି ପ୍ରାଚୀର ମଧ୍ଯ ଫାଟକ ଦଇେ ପଳାଇଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ କଲଦୀଯମାନେ ନଗରର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ବେଢି ରହିଥିଲେ। ପୁଣି ରାଜା ଆରବା ପଥ ଦଇେ ଚାଲିଗଲେ।

1 அப்பொழுது சூகியனான பில்தாத் பிரதியுத்தரமாக:
Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 அதிகாரமும் பயங்கரமும் அவரிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவர் தமது உன்னதமான ஸ்தலங்களில் சமாதானத்தை உண்டாக்குகிறார்.
Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3 அவருடைய சேனைகளுக்குத் தொகையுண்டோ? அவருடைய வெளிச்சம் யார்மேல் உதிக்காமலிருக்கிறது?
Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4 இப்படியிருக்க, மனுஷன் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமானாயிருப்பது எப்படி? ஸ்திரீயினிடத்தில் பிறந்தவன் சுத்தமாயிருப்பது எப்படி?
How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5 சந்திரனை அண்ணாந்துபாரும், அதுவும் பிரகாசியாமலிருக்கிறது; நட்சத்திரங்களும் அவர் பார்வைக்குச் சுத்தமானவைகள் அல்ல.
Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 புழுவாயிருக்கிற மனிதனும், பூச்சியாயிருக்கிற மனுபுத்திரனும் எம்மாத்திரம் என்றான்.
How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
