2 Kings 12:7
ତେଣୁ ରାଜା ଯୋୟାଶ୍ ଯାଜକ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଦା ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡକାଇଲେ ଏବଂ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଉଗ୍ନସ୍ଥାନମାନ କାହିଁକି ମରାମତି କରୁ ନାହିଁ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସବୋ କରିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆଉ ମୁଦ୍ରା ନିଅ ନାହିଁ। ସହେି ମୁଦ୍ରାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଭଗ୍ନସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଁ ମରାମତି ରେ ବ୍ଯବହାର ହେଉ।

ଯୋୟାଶ୍ ତାଙ୍କର ସମଗ୍ର ଜୀବନ କାଳ ରେ ଯାଜକ ୟିହୋଯାଦାଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁସା ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାପାଳନ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସେ ଯାହା କଲେ ତାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଥିଲା।

କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୋୟାବ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଦେଶକୁ 10 0 ଗୁଣ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ କରନ୍ତୁ। ମହୋଦଯ, ସମଗ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦାସ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ହେ ମାରେ ମହାଶୟ ଓ ରାଜା, ଆପଣା କାହିଁକି ଏହା କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି ? ଏହା ଦ୍ବାରା ଆପଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାପ ଦୋଷ ରେ ଦୋଷୀ କରାଇବେ।

ଛଅ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ, ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଦା ତାଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତିର ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କଲେ। ସେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକଙ୍କର 100 ଜଣ ସୈନ୍ଯ ଥିବା କପ୍ତାନଙ୍କର ସହିତ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି କଲେ। ସହେି କପ୍ତାନମାନେ ଥିଲେ : ୟିରୋହାମ୍ଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଅସରିଯ, ଯିହାୟୋଦାରନାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲେ, ଅସରିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଓବେଦ୍, ଅଦାଯାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ମା ସଯେ ଓ ସିଖ୍ରିଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀଶାଫଟ୍।

ଯୋୟାଶ୍ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ କଲେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ଯିହୁଦାର ସହରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ୟାଅ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ଯେଉଁ ଅର୍ଥ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତାହାକୁ ଠୁଳ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ପୁନଃନିର୍ମିତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସହେି ଅର୍ଥକୁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କର। ଶୀଘ୍ର ୟାଅ ଓ ଏହି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କର। କିନ୍ତୁ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଚଞ୍ଚଳ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
2 Chronicles 24:16
ଲୋକମାନେ ୟିହୋଯାଦାଙ୍କୁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନଗର ରେ, ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ରାଜାମାନେ କବରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି, ସହେିଠା ରେ କବର ଦେଲେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ୟିହୋଯାଦାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦେଲେ, କାରଣ ସେ ଆପଣାର ଜୀବନକାଳ ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧିଅରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିମନ୍ତେ ବହୁତ ଉତ୍ତମ କର୍ମ କରିଥିଲେ।
