କନାନିଯ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଭୟାତା ଶିମିଯି ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ତତ୍ତ୍ବାବଧାରକ ଥିଲେ : ୟିହୀଯେଲ୍, ଅସସିଯ, ନହତ୍, ଅସା ହେଲ୍, ଯିରମୋେତ୍, ୟୋଷାବଦ୍, ଇଲୀଯଲେ, ୟିଷ୍ମଖିଯ ମାହତ୍ ଓ ବନାଯ। ରାଜା ହିଜକିଯ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମନ୍ଦିର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ଥିବା ପଦାଧିକାରୀ ଅସରିଯ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ।

ପ୍ରତି ପରିବାରରୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ମନୋନୀତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଗୁଳିବାଣ୍ଟ ଦ୍ବାରା ମନୋନୀତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ରହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ କେତଜେଣ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରାୟାଇଥିଲା। ଆଉ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଯାଜକକର୍ମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋନୀତ କରାୟାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନେ ଇଲିଯାସର ଓ ଈଥାମରଙ୍କ ବଂଶରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ।

ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ଯ ଯିହୁଦା ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ କଲା, ଯେପରି ସମାନେେ ରାଜା ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ପଦାଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ବାଧ୍ଯ ହାଇପୋରନ୍ତି। ଏହି ପ୍ରକା ରେ, ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯର ବାଧ୍ଯ ହେଲେ।

ହିଜକିଯ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶସ୍ଯର ପ୍ରଥମ ଅଂଶ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ, ଯେଉଁଥିପାଇଁ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ନିଯମାନୁୟାଯୀ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସମସ୍ତ ସମୟ ଅତିବାହିତ କରିପାରିବେ।

ସାଦୋକ୍ ବଂଶର ମୁଖ୍ଯଯାଜକ ଅସରିଯ ହିଜକିଯଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟଠାରୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ଉପହାରସବୁ ଆଣିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ, ସହେି ସମୟଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଭୋଜନ କରିବାକୁ ପାଉଅଛୁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଭୋଜନ କରିସାରିଲୁଣି ଓ ଆହୁରି ପ୍ରଚୁର ବଳି ପଡ଼ିଅଛି ! ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଏତେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ବଳିପଡ଼ୁଅଛି।
