2 Chronicles 11 - DBY (Oriya)

1 And Rehoboam came to Jerusalem; and he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand chosen men apt for war, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଯେତବେେଳେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଲେ, ସେ ସର୍ବୋତ୍ତମ ସୈନିକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ 1,80,000 ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କଲେ। ସେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀରୁ ଏହି ସୈନିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କଲେ। ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଯେପରି ତାଙ୍କର ରାଜ୍ଯ ଫରେିପାଇବେ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ସହେି ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କଲେ।

2 But the word of Jehovah came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶମଯିଯଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଆସିଲା। ଶମଯିଯ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ,

3 Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,ଶମଯିଯା ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଏବଂ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ନଗର ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କୁହ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କୁହ :

4 Thus saith Jehovah: Go not up, nor fight with your brethren; return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. And they hearkened to the words of Jehovah, and returned from going against Jeroboam.ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କହନ୍ତି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଭ୍ରାତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ଗୃହକୁ ଫରେିଯାଉ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଘଟାଇଅଛୁ।' ଅତଏବ ରାଜା ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାର ବାଧ୍ଯ ହେଲେ ଓ ଫରେିଗଲେ। ସମାନେେ ୟାରବିଯାମ୍ଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।

5 And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah.ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ବାସ କଲେ। ସେ ଆକ୍ରମଣର ପ୍ରତିରୋଧ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯିହୁଦାର ଦୃଢ଼ ନଗରମାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।

6 And he built Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,ସେ ବୈଥ୍ଲେ ହେମ୍, ଐଟମ୍, ତକୋଯର ସମସ୍ତ ନଗରକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ।

7 and Beth-zur, and Soco, and Adullam,ବୈଥ୍ସୂର୍, ସୋଖୋ, ଅଦୂଲମ୍,

8 and Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,ଗାଥ୍, ମା ରଶାେ, ସୀଫ୍,

9 and Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,ଅଦୋରଯିମ୍, ଲାଖୀଶ୍, ଅ ସକୋ,

10 and Zorah, and Ajalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin, fortified cities.ସରା, ଅଯାଲୋନ୍ ଓ ହିବ୍ରୋଣ୍ର ନଗର ସବୁର ମରାମତି କଲେ। ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନର ଏହି ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଦୃଢ଼ କରାଗଲା।

11 And he fortified the strongholds, and put captains in them, and stores of victuals, and of oil and wine;ଯେତବେେଳେ ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ସହେି ନଗର ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ, ସେ ସଠାେରେ ସନୋଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ସେ ସହେି ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ, ତୈଳ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ମଧ୍ଯ ଯୋଗଣ କଲେ।

12 and in every several city, targets and spears, and made them exceedingly strong. And Judah and Benjamin were his.ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ଯ, ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ନଗର ରେ ଢ଼ାଲ ଓ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛାମାନ ଗଚ୍ଛିତ ରଖିଲେ ଓ ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ। ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନର ନଗର ଓ ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ଅଧୀନ ରେ ରଖିଲେ।

13 And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their districts;ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟଗଣ ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ସହ ଏକମତ ହେଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟୋଗ ଦେଲେ।

14 for the Levites left their suburbs and their possessions, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from exercising the priesthood to Jehovah;ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତୃଣଭୂମି ଓ ନିଜର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ସବୁକୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କଲେ ଏବଂ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଚାଲିଆସିଲେ। ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଯାଜକରୂପେ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ବାରଣ କରିବାରୁ ସମାନେେ ଏହିପରି କଲେ।

15 and he ordained for himself priests for the high places, and for the he-goats and for the calves that he had made.ୟାରବିଯାମ୍ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥାନମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ବଯଂ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ, ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନମାନଙ୍କ ରେ କି ସେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିବା ଛଳେି ଓ ବାଛୁରୀର ପ୍ରତିମା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଥିଲେ।

16 -- And after them, those out of all the tribes of Israel that set their heart to seek Jehovah the God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice to Jehovah the God of their fathers.ଏହାପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସହେି ସମସ୍ତ ଘରର ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ଥିଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତାଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଲେ।

17 And they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong three years; for during three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କଲେ। ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ରିହବିଯାମ୍ଙ୍କର ସପକ୍ଷ ରେ ରହିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଏପ୍ରକାର କଲେ, କାରଣ ଦାଉଦ ଓ ଶଲୋମନ ଯେଉଁ ମାର୍ଗ ରେ ଜୀବନ କାଟୁଥିଲେ, ସହେି ସମୟରେ ସମାନେେ ସହେି ମାର୍ଗ ରେ ଜୀବନ କାଟିଲେ।

18 And Rehoboam took Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David as wife, [and of] Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse.ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ମହଲତ୍ଙ୍କୁ ବିବାହ କଲେ। ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଥିଲେ ଯିରମୋେତ୍ର। ତାଙ୍କର ମାତା ଥିଲେ ଅବୀହଯିଲ। ଯିରମୋେତ୍ର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ଅବୀହଯିଲ ଇଲିଯାବ୍ଙ୍କ କନ୍ଯା ଥିଲେ। ଇଲିଯାବ୍ ୟିଶୀଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ।

19 And she bore him children: Jeush, and Shemariah, and Zaham.ମହଲତ୍ ରିହବଯାମ୍ଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ : ୟିଯୁଶ୍, ଶମରିଯ ଓ ସହମ।

20 And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.ଏହାପରେ ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ମାଖାଙ୍କୁ ବିବାହ କଲେ। ମାଖା ଅବଶା ଲୋମ୍ଙ୍କ ଝିଅ ଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ମାଖା ରିହବିଯାମ୍ଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ : ଅବିଯ, ଅତଯ, ସୀଷ ଓ ଶଲୋମୀତ୍।

21 And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines; for he had taken eighteen wives and sixty concubines, and he begot twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ତାଙ୍କର ଅଠର ଜଣ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଷାଠିଏ ଜଣ ଉପପତ୍ନୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ମାଖାଙ୍କୁ ସବୁଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ପ୍ ରମେ କରୁଥିଲେ। ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଅଠଇେଶ ଜଣ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ଷାଠିଏ ଜଣ କନ୍ଯାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଥିଲେ।

22 And Rehoboam established Abijah the son of Maachah at the head, to be ruler among his brethren; for [he thought] to make him king.ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ମାଖାର ପୁତ୍ର ଅବିଯଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଭ୍ରାତାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ନେତା ହବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଅବିଯଙ୍କୁ ରାଜା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯୋଜନା କରିଥିବାରୁ ଏହିପରି କଲେ।

23 And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his sons throughout all the lands of Judah and Benjamin, to all the fortified cities; and he gave them food in abundance. And he desired [for them] a multitude of wives.ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ଜ୍ଞାନର ସହିତ କର୍ମ କଲେ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ତଥା ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ ନଗରସାରା ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ଯାପ୍ତ କରି ରଖିଲେ। ଆଉ ରିହବିଯାମ୍ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦେଲେ। ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ଯ, ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖାଜେିଲେ।
