1 Samuel 4 - WEB (Oriya)

1 The word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out against the Philistines to battle, and encamped beside Ebenezer: and the Philistines encamped in Aphek.ଆଉ ଶାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଯଲରେ କଥା ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧିଅରେ ପ୍ରଚଳିତ ହେଲା। ଏଲି ବୃଦ୍ଧ ହେଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ କକ୍ସ୍ଟକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ଚାଲିଲେ।

2 The Philistines put themselves in array against Israel: and when they joined battle, Israel was struck before the Philistines; and they killed of the army in the field about four thousand men.ଏହାପରେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ନିଜକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟତ କଲେ। ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟଗଣ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପରାଜିତ ହେଲେ; ଓ 4 ,000 ସୈନ୍ଯ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲେ।

3 When the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Why has Yahweh struck us today before the Philistines? Let us get the ark of the covenant of Yahweh out of Shiloh to us, that it may come among us, and save us out of the hand of our enemies.ତା'ପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ଛାଉଣୀ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣ ପଚାରିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କାହିଁକି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପରାସ୍ତ କଲେ? ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶିଲୋଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନିଯମ-ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିବା। ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆସିବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।

4 So the people sent to Shiloh; and they brought from there the ark of the covenant of Yahweh of Hosts, who sits [above] the cherubim: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୀଲୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିଯମ-ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଆଣିଲେ। ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକର ଉପରେ କିରୂବ ଦୂତଗଣ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସିଂହାସନ ପରି ଏଲିଙ୍କର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ହଫ୍ନି ଓ ପୀନହସ୍ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିଯମ-ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଆସିଲେ।

5 When the ark of the covenant of Yahweh came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିଯମ-ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଛାଉଣୀକି ଆସନ୍ତେ ସମଗ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଏପରି ମହା ଜଯଧ୍ବନି କଲେ, ଯେ ପୃଥିବୀ କଐିଲା।

6 When the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What means the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? They understood that the ark of Yahweh was come into the camp.ତହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ସହେି ଜଯଧ୍ବନି ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି କହିଲେ, ଏବ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ଛାଉଣୀ ରେ ଏହି ମହାଜଯଧ୍ବନିର ଅଭିପ୍ରାଯ କ'ଣ?

7 The Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. They said, Woe to us! for there has not been such a thing heretofore.ତହିଁରେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ଭୀତ ହାଇେ କହିଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଛାଉଣୀକି ଆସି ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆହକ୍ସ୍ଟରି ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ହାୟ! ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅସକ୍ସ୍ଟବିଧା ରେ ଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଏହା ପୂର୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏପରି କବେେ ହାଇନୋହିଁ।

8 Woe to us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty gods? these are the gods that struck the Egyptians with all manner of plagues in the wilderness.ହାୟ! ଏହି ବଳବାନ୍ ଦବଗେଣ ହସ୍ତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କିଏ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବ? ଏହି ଦବଗେଣ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ରୋଗ ଓ ମହାମାରୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ମିସ୍ତ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିଥିଲେ।

9 Be strong, and behave yourselves like men, O you Philistines, that you not be servants to the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.ହେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବଳବାନ ଓ ସାହସୀ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ। ପୁରୁଷ ପଣ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କର। ତହିଁରେ ଏବ୍ରୀଯମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ହାଇେଥିଲେ, ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦାସ ହାଇେ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପୁରୁଷତ୍ବ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର ଓ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କର।

10 The Philistines fought, and Israel was struck, and they fled every man to his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.ତହିଁରେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ପରାସ୍ତ ହାଇେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ତମ୍ବୁକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଗଲେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ଅତି ମହାସଂହାର ହେଲା, କାରଣ ସେଥି ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର 30,000 ପଦାତିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ମରି ପଡିଲେ।

11 The ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧରିଲେ। ଆଉ ଏଲିଙ୍କର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ହଫନ ଓ ପୀନହସ୍ ହତ ହେଲେ।

12 There ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day, with his clothes torn, and with earth on his head.ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜଣେ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନିଯ ଲୋକ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧଭୂମି ଛାଡି ଦଲୋ ଓ ସାରା ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ସିଯୋଲ ଆଡକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦୌଡିଲା। ତା'ର ବସ୍ତ୍ରଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ଚିରିଗଲା ଏବଂ ତା'ର ମସ୍ତକରେ ମାଟି ଥିଲା। ସହେିଦିନ ସେ ସିଯୋଲ ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲା

13 When he came, behold, Eli was sitting on his seat by the road watching; for his heart trembled for the ark of God. When the man came into the city, and told it, all the city cried out.ସହେି ସମୟରେ ଏଲି ଫାଟକ ପାଖ ରେ ବସି ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲେ, କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାଙ୍କର ହୃଦଯ ଉତ୍କସ୍ଖିତ ଥିଲା। ଇତ୍ଯବସର ରେ ସହେିଲୋକ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଦଲୋ ଏବଂ ନଗରୟାକ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବର ରେ କାନ୍ଦି ଉଠିଲେ।

14 When Eli heard the noise of the crying, he said, What means the noise of this tumult? The man hurried, and came and told Eli.ତା'ପରେ ଏଲି ସହେି କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ ଶଦ୍ଦ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି କହିଲେ, ଏହି କୋଳାହଳ ଶଦ୍ଦର ଅଭିପ୍ରାଯ କ'ଣ? ତହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ସହେି ଲୋକ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଏଲିଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଦଲୋ।

15 Now Eli was ninety-eight years old; and his eyes were set, so that he could not see.ସେ ସମୟରେ ଏଲି ଅଠାନବେ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ୍କ ହାଇେଥିଲେ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧ ହାଇେଥିବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସେ ଦେଖି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

16 The man said to Eli, I am he who came out of the army, and I fled today out of the army. He said, How went the matter, my son?ତା'ପରେ ସହେି ଲୋକଟି ଏଲିଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲା, ମୁ ଏକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ୟିଏ କି ଏବେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରୁ ଫରେି ଆସିଲି। ମୁ ଆଜି ଯୁଦ୍ଧରୁ ଦୌଡି ପଳାଇ ଆସିଲି।

17 He who brought the news answered, Israel is fled before the Philistines, and there has been also a great slaughter among the people, and your two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God is taken.ତହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ସମାଗ୍ଭର ଆଣିଥିବା ଲୋକ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲା, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦୌଡି ପଳାଇଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନି ତାଙ୍କର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ସୈନ୍ଯ ହରାଇଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ହଫନି ଓ ପୀନହସ ମଲେ ଓ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ନଇଗେଲେ।

18 It happened, when he made mention of the ark of God, that [Eli] fell from off his seat backward by the side of the gate; and his neck broke, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. He had judged Israel forty years.ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏଲି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣିଲେ, ଏଲି ଆପଣା ଚୌକି ପଛଆଡେ ପଡିଗଲେ, ତହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ତାଙ୍କର ବକେ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଗଲା ଓ ସେ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲେ, କାରଣ ସେ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଭାରୀ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଗ୍ଭଳିଶବର୍ଷ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ନତେୃତ୍ବ ନେଲେ।

19 His daughter-in-law, Phinehas' wife, was with child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the news that the ark of God was taken, and that her father-in-law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and brought forth; for her pains came on her.ସେ ସମୟରେ ଏଲିର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରବଧୂ ପୀନହସର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ଥିଲା ଓ ତା'ର ପ୍ରସବକାଳ ନିକଟ ଥିଲା ଏହା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣିବା ପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଧରା ପଡିଲା। ତା'ର ଶ୍ବଶକ୍ସ୍ଟର ଓ ସ୍ବାମୀ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲେ। ଅତି ପ୍ରସବକାଳିନ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଭୋଗ କରୁକରୁ ସେ ପ୍ରସବ କଲା।

20 About the time of her death the women who stood by her said to her, Don't be afraid; for you have brought forth a son. But she didn't answer, neither did she regard it.ତା'ପରେ ପ୍ରାଯ ତାହାର ମରଣ ହେଲାପରି, ତାହା ନିକଟରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେଥିବା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ପ୍ରସବ କରିଅଛ,

21 She named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel; because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father-in-law and her husband.ସେ ସହେି ବାଳକର ନାମ ଐ-କାବୋଦ୍ ଦଲୋ। ତା'ର ଅର୍ଥ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗୌରବ ଗ୍ଭଲି ୟାଇଛି।ଏହା ଧାରଣା ଦିଏ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଧରା ପଡିଛି ଏବଂ ତା'ର ଶ୍ବଶକ୍ସ୍ଟର ଓ ସ୍ବାମୀ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ବରଣ କରିଥିଲେ।

22 She said, The glory is departed from Israel; for the ark of God is taken.ଏବଂ ସେ କହିଲା, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗୌରବ ଗ୍ଭଲିୟାଇଛି, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ବହି ନିଆଗଲା।
