19 And his daughter in law, Phinehas’ wife, was with child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken, and that her father in law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed; for her pains came upon her.

20 And about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear not; for thou hast born a son. But she answered not, neither did she regard it.

21 And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband.

19 ସେ ସମୟରେ ଏଲିର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରବଧୂ ପୀନହସର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ଥିଲା ଓ ତା'ର ପ୍ରସବକାଳ ନିକଟ ଥିଲା ଏହା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣିବା ପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଧରା ପଡିଲା। ତା'ର ଶ୍ବଶକ୍ସ୍ଟର ଓ ସ୍ବାମୀ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲେ। ଅତି ପ୍ରସବକାଳିନ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଭୋଗ କରୁକରୁ ସେ ପ୍ରସବ କଲା।

20 ତା'ପରେ ପ୍ରାଯ ତାହାର ମରଣ ହେଲାପରି, ତାହା ନିକଟରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେଥିବା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ପ୍ରସବ କରିଅଛ,

21 ସେ ସହେି ବାଳକର ନାମ ଐ-କାବୋଦ୍ ଦଲୋ। ତା'ର ଅର୍ଥ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗୌରବ ଗ୍ଭଲି ୟାଇଛି।ଏହା ଧାରଣା ଦିଏ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସିନ୍ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ଧରା ପଡିଛି ଏବଂ ତା'ର ଶ୍ବଶକ୍ସ୍ଟର ଓ ସ୍ବାମୀ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ବରଣ କରିଥିଲେ।
