ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଶମରଙ୍କେୁ ଦୁଇ ତଳାନ୍ତ ରୂପା ଦଇେ ଶମରୋଶ୍ ପର୍ବତ କ୍ରଯ କଲେ। ସେ ଶମରୋତ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଏକ ନଗର ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ସହେି ପର୍ବତର ମାଲିକର ନାମ ଶମରେର ନାମାନୁସା ରେ ନଗରର ନାମ ଶମରିଯା ରଖିଲେ।
