ଏହାର କାରଣ ହେଲା, ବାଶା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଏଲା ପାପ କର୍ମ ରେ ଲିପ୍ତ ରହିଲେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପାପ କରାଇଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବହୁତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରାଇଲେ।

ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପିତୃଗଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ କୃତ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଯମ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରତି ଦତ୍ତ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସାକ୍ଷ୍ଯସବୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ଯ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଚତାବେନୀ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଅମାନ୍ଯ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମୂଲ୍ଯହୀନ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିଗୁଡିକୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କଲେ ପୂଜା କଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ନିଜେ ମୂଲ୍ଯହୀନ ହାଇଗେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ଚତୁଃପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଜାତି ପରି ବାସ କଲେ, ଯଦିଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦଇେଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଯାହା କରନ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହା କର ନାହିଁ। ଯାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବାରିବାକୁ ମନା କରିଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ତାହା କଲେ।
