1 Kings 13:4
ବୈଥଲେ ରେ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ବିଷଯ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ମୁହଁରୁ ରାଜା ୟାରବଯାମ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଶୁଣିଲେ। ସେ ସହେି ଲୋକକୁ ଧରିବା ପାଇଁ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କଲେ। ସେ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ, ତାକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କର! ମାତ୍ର ରାଜା ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଯେଉଁ ବାହୁ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଥିଲେ ତାହା ଆଉ ସଙ୍କୁଚିତ କରି ପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ତାଙ୍କର ବାହୁ ତତ୍କ୍ଷଣାତ୍ ପକ୍ଷଘାତ ହାଇଗେଲା।

ତେଣୁ ସହେି ଅଧିପତିଗଣ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନୁ ରୋଧ କରୁଅଛୁ, ଏହି ଯିରିମିୟକୁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଦଣ୍ଡ ହେଉ। କାରଣ ସେ ଏହି ନଗରର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର କଥା କହି ନିରୁତ୍ସାହିତ କରୁଅଛି। ପୁଣି ସେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଚାହୁଁ ନାହିଁ, ବରଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଚାହୁଁଛି।
Revelation 11:5
ଯଦି କହେି ସମାନଙ୍କେର କ୍ଷତି କରିବାକୁ ଚା ହେଁ, ତା' ହେଲ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମୁହଁରୁ ବାହାରୁଥିବା ଅଗ୍ନି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବ। ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କ୍ଷତି କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ, ସେ ଏହିପରିଭାବେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଭୋଗ କରିବ।
