1 Chronicles 18:1
ପରେ ଦାଉଦ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କଲେ। ସେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଗାଥ ସହର ଓ ତାହାର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ଥିବା କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ସହରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରି ନଇଗେଲେ।

| subdued and | וַיַּכְנִיעֵ֑ם | wayyaknîʿēm | va-yahk-nee-AME |
| them, and took | וַיִּקַּ֛ח | wayyiqqaḥ | va-yee-KAHK |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| Gath | גַּ֥ת | gat | ɡaht |
| towns her and | וּבְנֹתֶ֖יהָ | ûbĕnōtêhā | oo-veh-noh-TAY-ha |
| out of the hand | מִיַּ֥ד | miyyad | mee-YAHD |
| of the Philistines. | פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ | pĕlištîm | peh-leesh-TEEM |
