1 Chronicles 10 - WEB (Oriya)

1 Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain on Mount Gilboa.ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ପଳାଯନ କଲେ। ଅନକେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଲୋକ ଗିଲ୍ବୋଯ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ନିହତ ହେଲେ।

2 The Philistines followed hard after Saul and after his sons; and the Philistines killed Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul.ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଶାଉଲ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ପେଛ ପେଛ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଧରି ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋନାଥନ, ଅବୀନାଦବ ଓ ମାଲ୍କୀଶୂଯଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

3 The battle went sore against Saul, and the archers overtook him; and he was distressed by reason of the archers.ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କ୍ରମେ ପ୍ରବଳତର ହବୋକୁ ଲାଗିଲା। ଏବଂ ଧନୁର୍ଦ୍ଧରମାନେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଶର ଦ୍ବାରା ବିନ୍ଧି ପକାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଶର ଦ୍ବାରା କ୍ଷତାକ୍ତ ହେଲେ।

4 Then said Saul to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor-bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell on it.ଏହାପରେ ଶାଉଲ ନିଜର ଅସ୍ତ୍ରବାହକକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଖଡ୍ଗ ବାହାର କର ଓ ମାେତେ ସେଥି ରେ ବଧ କର। ତବେେ ସହେି ଅସୁନ୍ନତ ବିଦେଶୀମାନେ ଆସି ମାରେ ଉପହାସ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

5 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword, and died.ଅସ୍ତ୍ରବାହକ ଦେଖିଲା ଯେ, ଶାଉଲ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଭୋଗ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏଣୁ ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ନିଜକୁ ବଧ କଲା। ସେ ନିଜ ଖଡ୍ଗ ମୁନ ଉପରେ ପଡି ମୃତ୍ଯୁଭୋଗ କଲା।

6 So Saul died, and his three sons; and all his house died together.ସହେିପରି ଭାବରେ ଶାଉଲ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ତିନି ପୁତ୍ର ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ। ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ପରିବାରର ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକତ୍ର ମରଣ ଲଭିଲେ।

7 When all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and lived in them.ଉପତ୍ୟକା ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଅନାଇ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ପଳାଯନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଶାଉଲ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି, ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ନିଜର ସହର ଛାଡ଼ି ପଳାଯନ କଲେ। ଏବଂ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ସହରଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ବସବାସ କଲେ।

8 It happened on the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଦିନ, ମୃତ ଶରୀରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ନିକଟରୁ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ ନବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଗିଲବୋଯ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ଶରୀର ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ଶରୀରକୁ ପାଇଲେ।

9 They stripped him, and took his head, and his armor, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry the news to their idols, and to the people.ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ଉଲଗ୍ନ କଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ମସ୍ତକ ଓ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ସାଜ ନଇଗେଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଦେଶସାରା ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବାହକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଭଣ୍ଡ ଦବେତା ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ଏହି ଖବର ପହଞ୍ଚାଇଲେ।

10 They put his armor in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the house of Dagon.ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଭଣ୍ଡ ଦବେତାର ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ୟୁଦ୍ଧସାଜକୁ ନଇେ ରଖିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦାଗୋନ ଦବେତାର ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ଖପୁରିକୁ ଟଙ୍ଗାଇଲେ।

11 When all Jabesh Gilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମ କଲେ, ସହେିସବୁ ୟାବେଶ-ଗିଲିଯଦ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ।

12 all the valiant men arose, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.ୟାବେଶ-ଗିଲିଯଦର ସମସ୍ତ ସାହସୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ଶାଉଲ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କର ମୃତ ଶରୀର ଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗଲେ ଓ ନଇେ ଆସିଲେ। ୟାବେଶସ୍ଥିତ ଏକ ବିରାଟ ବୃକ୍ଷ ତଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଅସ୍ଥିକୁ କବର ଦେଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ସମାନେେ ସାତଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଉପବାସ କଲେ।

13 So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against Yahweh, because of the word of Yahweh, which he didn't keep; and also because he asked counsel of one who had a familiar spirit, to inquire [thereby],ଶାଉଲ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ନ ଥିବାରୁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ। ଶାଉଲ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯର ବାଧ୍ଯ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଶାଉଲ ଜଣେ ଗୁଣିଆ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପାଖକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ୟାଇଥିଲେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପରାମର୍ଶ ନ ଲୋଡ଼ି ତାହାର ପରାମର୍ଶ ଲୋଡ଼ିଥିଲେ।

14 and didn't inquire of Yahweh: therefore he killed him, and turned the kingdom to David the son of Jesse.ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କଲେ ଓ ୟିଶୀର ପୁତ୍ର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ରାଜ୍ଯଭାର ଅର୍ପଣ କଲେ।
