பழிவாங்குகிறவன் கொலை செய்தவனை அடைக்கலப்பட்டணத்துக்கு வெளியே கண்டுபிடித்துக் கொன்றுபோட்டால், அவன்மேல் இரத்தப்பழி இல்லை.

அப்பொழுது உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்கும் உன் தேசத்தில் குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தம் சிந்தப்படுகிறதினால் உன்மேல் இரத்தப்பழி சுமராதபடிக்கு, இந்த மூன்று பட்டணங்களும் அல்லாமல் இன்னும் மூன்று பட்டணங்களை ஏற்படுத்தக்கடவாய்.
