1 மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவரை நோக்கி: கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிடுவது என்னவென்றால்: And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.

2 ஒருவன் கர்த்தருக்கு யாதொரு பொருத்தனை பண்ணினாலும், அல்லது யாதொரு காரியத்தைச் செய்யும்படி ஆணையிட்டுத் தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், அவன் சொல்தவறாமல் தன் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட வாக்கின்படியெல்லாம் செய்யக்கடவன். If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

3 தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டிலிருக்கிற ஒரு பெண் பிள்ளை தன் சிறுவயதிலே கர்த்தருக்குப் பொருத்தனைபண்ணி யாதொரு காரியத்தைச் செய்யும்படி தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொண்டால், If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;

4 அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனையையும், அவள் பண்ணிக்கொண்ட நிபந்தனையையும் அவளுடைய தகப்பன் கேட்டும் அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாதிருப்பானானால், அவள் செய்த எல்லாப் பொருத்தனைகளும் அவள் தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொண்ட நிபந்தனையும் நிறைவேறவேண்டும். And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

5 அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளையும், அவள் செய்யும்படி தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்தின நிபந்தனையையும் அவளுடைய தகப்பன் கேட்கிற நாளிலே அவன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்தால், அது நிறைவேறவேண்டியதில்லை; அவளுடைய தகப்பன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்தபடியால், கர்த்தர் அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார். But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.

6 அவள் பொருத்தனை பண்ணும்போதும், தன் உதடுகளைத் திறந்து தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும்போதும், அவளுக்குப் புருஷன் இருந்தால், And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;

7 அப்பொழுது அவளுடைய புருஷன் அதைக் கேட்டிருந்தும், அதைக் கேள்விப்படுகிற நாளிலே அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாதிருந்தால், அவளுடைய பொருத்தனைகளும் அவள் தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்தின நிபந்தனையும் நிறைவேறவேண்டும். And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

8 அவளுடைய புருஷன் அதைக் கேட்கிற நாளில் அவன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்து, அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனையும் அவள் தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொண்ட நிபந்தனையும் செல்லாதபடி செய்தானேயானால், அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார். But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.

9 ஒரு விதவையாவது, தள்ளப்பட்டுப்போன ஒரு ஸ்திரீயாவது தன் ஆத்துமாவை எந்த நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறாளோ அந்த நிபந்தனை நிறைவேறவேண்டும். But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.

10 அவள் தன் புருஷனுடைய வீட்டில் யாதொரு பொருத்தனை பண்ணினாலும், அல்லது யாதொரு காரியத்தைச் செய்யும்படி ஆணையிட்டுத் தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;

11 அவளுடைய புருஷன் அதைக் கேட்டும் அவளுக்கு அதை வேண்டாமென்று தடுக்காமல் மவுனமாயிருந்தால், அவள் செய்த எல்லாப் பொருத்தனைகளும், அவள் தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்தின எல்லா நிபந்தனைகளும் நிறைவேறவேண்டும். And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

12 அவளுடைய புருஷன் அவைகளைக்கேட்ட நாளில் அவைகளைச் செல்லாதபடி பண்ணினால், அப்பொழுது அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளும், அவள் தன் ஆத்துமாவையுட்படுத்தின நிபந்தனையைக்குறித்து அவள் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டதொன்றும் நிறைவேறவேண்டியதில்லை; அவளுடைய புருஷன் அவைகளைச் செல்லாதபடி பண்ணினதினாலே கர்த்தர் அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார். But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.

13 எந்தப் பொருத்தனையையும் ஆத்துமாவைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தும்படி செய்யப்பட்ட எந்த ஆணையையும், அவளுடைய புருஷன் ஸ்திரப்படுத்தவுங்கூடும், செல்லாதபடி பண்ணவும் கூடும். Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.

14 அவளுடைய புருஷன் ஒருநாளும் அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாதிருந்தானாகில், அவன் அவளுடைய எல்லாப் பொருத்தனைகளையும், அவள்பேரிலிருக்கிற அவளுடைய எல்லா நிபந்தனைகளையும் ஸ்திரப்படுத்துகிறான்; அவன் அதைக் கேட்ட நாளிலே அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாமற் போனதினால், அவைகளை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துகிறான். But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.

15 அவன் அவைகளைக் கேட்டபின்பு செல்லாதபடி பண்ணினால், அவளுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவன் சுமப்பான் என்றார். But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.

16 புருஷனையும் ஸ்திரீயையும், தகப்பனையும் தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டில் சிறுவயதில் இருக்கிற அவன் குமாரத்தியையும் குறித்து, கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கு விதித்த கட்டளைகள் இவைகளே. These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.

1 Moses Israel puththirarutaiya koththirangalin thalaivarai Nnokki: Karththar kattalaiyiduvathu ennavental: And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.

2 Oruvan karththarukku yaathoru poruththanai pannnninaalum, allathu yaathoru kaariyaththaich seyyumpati aannaiyittuth than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththikkonndaalum, avan solthavaraamal than vaayilirunthu purappatta vaakkinpatiyellaam seyyakkadavan. If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

3 Than thakappan veettilirukkira oru penn pillai than siraுvayathilae karththarukkup poruththanaipannnni yaathoru kaariyaththaich seyyumpati than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththikkonndaal, If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;

4 Aval seytha poruththanaiyaiyum, aval pannnnikkonnda nipanthanaiyaiyum avalutaiya thakappan kaettum avalukku ontum sollaathiruppaanaanaal, aval seytha ellaap poruththanaikalum aval than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththikkonnda nipanthanaiyum niraivaeravaenndum. And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

5 Aval seytha poruththanaikalaiyum, aval seyyumpati than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththina nipanthanaiyaiyum avalutaiya thakappan kaetkira naalilae avan vaenndaam entu thaduththaal, athu niraivaeravaenntiyathillai; avalutaiya thakappan vaenndaam entu thaduththapatiyaal, Karththar athai avalukku mannippaar. But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.

6 Aval poruththanai pannnumpothum, than uthadukalaith thiranthu than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththikkollumpothum, avalukkup purushan irunthaal, And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;

7 Appoluthu avalutaiya purushan athaik kaettirunthum, athaik kaelvippadukira naalilae avalukku ontum sollaathirunthaal, avalutaiya poruththanaikalum aval than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththina nipanthanaiyum niraivaeravaenndum. And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

8 Avalutaiya purushan athaik kaetkira naalil avan vaenndaam entu thaduththu, aval seytha poruththanaiyum aval than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththikkonnda nipanthanaiyum sellaathapati seythaanaeyaanaal, appoluthu Karththar athai avalukku mannippaar. But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.

9 Oru vithavaiyaavathu, thallappattuppona oru sthireeyaavathu than aaththumaavai entha nipanthanaikkutpaduththikkollukiraalo antha nipanthanai niraivaeravaenndum. But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.

10 Aval than purushanutaiya veettil yaathoru poruththanai pannnninaalum, allathu yaathoru kaariyaththaich seyyumpati aannaiyittuth than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththikkonndaalum, And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;

11 Avalutaiya purushan athaik kaettum avalukku athai vaenndaamentu thadukkaamal mavunamaayirunthaal, aval seytha ellaap poruththanaikalum, aval than aaththumaavai nipanthanaikkutpaduththina ellaa nipanthanaikalum niraivaeravaenndum. And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

12 Avalutaiya purushan avaikalaikkaetta naalil avaikalaich sellaathapati pannnninaal, appoluthu aval seytha poruththanaikalum, aval than aaththumaavaiyutpaduththina nipanthanaiyaikkuriththu aval vaayilirunthu purappattathontum niraivaeravaenntiyathillai; avalutaiya purushan avaikalaich sellaathapati pannnninathinaalae Karththar athai avalukku mannippaar. But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.

13 Enthap poruththanaiyaiyum aaththumaavaith thaalmaippaduththumpati seyyappatta entha aannaiyaiyum, avalutaiya purushan sthirappaduththavungaூdum, sellaathapati pannnavum koodum. Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.

14 Avalutaiya purushan orunaalum avalukku ontum sollaathirunthaanaakil, avan avalutaiya ellaap poruththanaikalaiyum, avalpaerilirukkira avalutaiya ellaa nipanthanaikalaiyum sthirappaduththukiraan; avan athaik kaetta naalilae avalukku ontum sollaamar ponathinaal, avaikalai sthirappaduththukiraan. But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.

15 Avan avaikalaik kaettapinpu sellaathapati pannnninaal, avalutaiya akkiramaththai avan sumappaan entar. But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.

16 Purushanaiyum sthireeyaiyum, thakappanaiyum thakappanutaiya veettil siraுvayathil irukkira avan kumaaraththiyaiyum kuriththu, Karththar Moseskku vithiththa kattalaikal ivaikalae. These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.
