நாங்கள் பட்டயத்தால் மடியும்படிக்கும், எங்கள் பெண்ஜாதிகளும் பிள்ளைகளையும் கொள்ளையாகும்படிக்கும், கர்த்தர் எங்களை இந்த தேசத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தது என்ன? எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகிறதே எங்களுக்கு உத்தமம் அல்லவோ என்றார்கள்.

மகிமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் அங்கே நமக்கு மிக அகலமான நதிகளும் ஆறுகளுமுள்ள இடம் போலிருப்பார்; தண்டுவலிக்கிற படகு அங்கே ஓடுவதும் இல்லை; பெரிய கப்பல் அங்கே கடந்துவருவதும் இல்லை.
