तर वास्तवमा येशू स्वयंले बप्तिस्मा दिनु भएको थिएन। उहाँका चेलाहरूले उहाँकै निम्ति मानिसहरूलाई बप्तिस्मा दिइरहेका थिए। फरिसीहरूले उहाँको विषयमा सुनिसकेका थिए भनेर येशूलाई थाहा थियो।
