Proverbs 31 - YLT (Nepali)

1 Words of Lemuel a king, a declaration that his mother taught him:यी हितोउपदेशहरू राजा लमूएलले संग्रह गरेका हुन्, जुन तिनकी आमाले सिकाएकी हुन्;

2 `What, my son? and what, son of my womb? And what, son of my vows?तिमी मेरा छोरा हौ जसलाई म माया गर्छु। तिमी मैले भाकल गर्दा जन्मेका छोरा हौ।

3 Give not to women thy strength, And thy ways to wiping away of kings.स्त्रीहरूमाथि आफ्नो शक्ति खेर नफाल। स्त्रीहरूले राजालाई नष्ट पार्छन् यसर्थ तिनीहरू माथि आफैंलाई नहोम।

4 Not for kings, O Lemuel, Not for kings, to drink wine, And for princes a desire of strong drink.लमूएल, राजाको लागि दाखरस पिउनु असल होइन। शासकहरूले मदिरा पिउनु हुँदैन।

5 Lest he drink, and forget the decree, And change the judgment of any of the sons of affliction.तिनीहरूले ज्यादै पिएर यस्तो हुनु सक्छन कि कानुनमा के भनिएकोछ भूल्न सक्छन्। यसरी तिनीहरूले गरीबहरूको सबै अधिकार खोस्न सक्छन्।

6 Give strong drink to the perishing, And wine to the bitter in soul,गरीब मानिसहरूलाई दाखमद्य देऊ अनि कष्टमा परेका मानिसहरूलाई मदिरा देऊ।

7 He drinketh, and forgetteth his poverty, And his misery he remembereth not again.मदिरा पिएर गरीबहरूले आफ्नो गरीबी अनि कष्टलाई भुल्न देऊ।

8 Open thy mouth for the dumb, For the right of all sons of change.तिनीहरूको निम्ति बोली देऊ जसले आफ्नो लागि बोल्न सक्दैनन् अनि ती अभावग्रस्त गरीबहरूको अधिकारको लागि बोली देऊ।

9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, Both the cause of the poor and needy!'न्यायमा नहिचकिचाई बोली देऊ, गरीब र अभावग्रस्त मानिसहरूको अधिकारको रक्षा गर।

10 A woman of worth who doth find? Yea, far above rubies `is' her price.असल पत्नी पाउँन अतिनै गाह्रो हुन्छ किनभने एउटी आदर्श पत्नी, बहूमुल्य रत्नहरू भन्दा पनि मूल्यवान हुन्छे।

11 The heart of her husband hath trusted in her, And spoil he lacketh not.तिनको पतिले तिनी माथि पूरा भरोसा राख्छ अनि कहिल्यै गरीब हुनु पर्दैन।

12 She hath done him good, and not evil, All days of her life.आदर्श पत्निले आफ्नो पति सित असल व्यवहार र्गछिन् अनि जीवन भरी आफ्नो पतिको निम्ति विपत्ति ल्याउँदिनन्।

13 She hath sought wool and flax, And with delight she worketh `with' her hands.तिनी सधैं ऊनी तथा सूतीको लुगा बनाउनमा व्यस्त रहन्छिन्।

14 She hath been as ships of the merchant, From afar she bringeth in her bread.तिनी टाडा देशबाट आउने समुद्री जहाजले जस्तै, कहीबाट पनि भोजन लिएर घर आउँछिन्।

15 Yea, she riseth while yet night, And giveth food to her household, And a portion to her damsels.तिनी बिहानै उठी भोजन पकाउँछिन्, अनि आफ्नो परिवार र नोकर्नीहरूलाई बाडछिन्।

16 She hath considered a field, and taketh it, From the fruit of her hands she hath planted a vineyard.तिनी जमीन निरीक्षण र्गछिन् अनि उचित मूल्यमा किन्छिन् आफूले कमाएको पैसाबाट दाख रोप्छिन्।

17 She hath girded with might her loins, And doth strengthen her arms.तिनी अत्यन्तै परिश्रमी छिन् अनि सबै प्रकारको काम गर्नलाई सक्षम हुन्छिन्।

18 She hath perceived when her merchandise `is' good, Her lamp is not extinguished in the night.आफैंले बनाएका र उब्जाएका चीजहरूको व्यपार र्गछिन, र नाफा कमाउँछिन् अनि तिनी रातीसम्मा कडा परिश्रम र्गछिन्।

19 Her hands she hath sent forth on a spindle, And her hands have held a distaff.तिनीले आफैं धागो कात्छिन अनि आफ्नो घरको लागि लुगा बनाउँछिन्।

20 Her hand she hath spread forth to the poor, Yea, her hands she sent forth to the needy.गरीबलाई सधैं दान दिन्छिन् अनि दीन-हीन मानिसहरूको खाँचो पूरा र्गछिन्।

21 She is not afraid of her household from snow, For all her household are clothed `with' scarlet.हिऊँ पर्दा पनि आफ्नो परिवारको निम्ति चिन्ता गर्दिनन्। तिनले परिवारका सबैलाई तातो अनि असल लुगाहरू दिएकी छिन्।

22 Ornamental coverings she hath made for herself, Silk and purple `are' her clothing.तिनले च्यादर बुन्छिन् र ओछ्यानमा फिंजाउँछिन अनि आफूले सुन्दर नरम सुतीको लुगाहरू पहिरिन्छिन्।

23 Known in the gates is her husband, In his sitting with elders of the land.उनका पतिलाई सबैले आदर गर्छन् किनभने तिनी त्यस ठाउँका नेताहरूमा एक हुन्।

24 Linen garments she hath made, and selleth, And a girdle she hath given to the merchant.तिनी कुशल व्यापारिनी हुन्, तिनी लुगा तथा पटुकाहरू बनाउछिन् र व्यापारीहरूलाई बेच्छिन्।

25 Strength and honour `are' her clothing, And she rejoiceth at a latter day.तिनी बलीयी अनि मर्यादित छिन्, तिनले भविष्यलाई हेरेर ढुक्क भएर हाँस्न सक्छिन्।

26 Her mouth she hath opened in wisdom, And the law of kindness `is' on her tongue.तिनको बोलीमा ज्ञान छ र तिनले मानिसहरूलाई मायालु तथा दयालु बन्न सिकाउँछिन्।

27 She `is' watching the ways of her household, And bread of sloth she eateth not.तिनले आफ्नो परिवारको कामको हेरविचार र्गछिन्। तिनले कहिले अल्छी गर्दिनन्।

28 Her sons have risen up, and pronounce her happy, Her husband, and he praiseth her,तिनलाई आफ्नै बाल बच्चाले प्रशंसा गर्छन्, तिनको पतिले तिनी माथि गर्व गर्छन् र भन्छन्,

29 `Many `are' the daughters who have done worthily, Thou hast gone up above them all.'“संसारमा धेरै असल स्त्रीहरू छन् तर ती मध्ये तिमी नै सर्वश्रेष्ट हौ।”

30 The grace `is' false, and the beauty `is' vain, A woman fearing Jehovah, she may boast herself.आकर्षण र सौन्दर्य क्षणिक वस्तुहरू मात्र हुन्, तर जो स्त्रीले परमप्रभुको डर मान्छे उसको प्रशंसा गर्नु पर्छ।

31 Give ye to her of the fruit of her hands, And her works do praise her in the gates!तिनको योग्यताले पाउने इनाम तिनले पाउनु पर्छ अनि तिनले गरेको प्रशंसनीय कार्यहरूका निम्ति तिनी समाजमा प्रशंसित हुनै पर्छ।
