Proverbs 3 - YLT (Nepali)

1 My son! my law forget not, And my commands let thy heart keep,हे मेरा छोरा, मेरा शिक्षाहरूलाई नभुल। मैले तिमीलाई गर्नु भनेका ती चीजहरूको सम्झना गर।

2 For length of days and years, Life and peace they do add to thee.मैले भनेका कुराहरूले तिमीलाई दीर्घ, सुखमय तथा अधिक शान्तिपूर्ण जीवन जीउन सिकाउँछ।

3 Let not kindness and truth forsake thee, Bind them on thy neck, Write them on the tablet of thy heart,प्रेम, विश्वासनीयताले तिमीलाई कहिल्यै नछाडोस्। तिनीहरूलाई आफ्नो मानसपटलमा गहिरोसित राख। ती शिक्षाहरूलाई माला गुँथी गलामा लगाई राख्।

4 And find grace and good understanding In the eyes of God and man.तब तिमी ज्ञानी हुनेछौ अनि तिमीले परमेश्वर अनि मानिसहरूबाट अनुग्रह पाउनेछौ।

5 Trust unto Jehovah with all thy heart, And unto thine own understanding lean not.तिम्रो सम्पूर्ण हृदयले परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गर। तिम्रो आफ्नै बुद्धिमा मात्र भर नपर।

6 In all thy ways know thou Him, And He doth make straight thy paths.तिम्रा सम्पूर्ण मार्गहरूमा परमप्रभुलाई सम्झ। उहाँले नै तिम्रा सबै मार्गहरू सोझो पारिदिनु हुनेछ।

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes, Fear Jehovah, and turn aside from evil.आफैंलाई बुद्धिमानि नसोच, परमप्रभुसित डराउनु अनि दुष्कर्मबाट टाडो बस्नु।

8 Healing it is to thy navel, And moistening to thy bones.यदि तिमीले यसो गर्यौ भने तिम्रो शरीरलाई त्यो औषधी हुनेछ अथवा तिम्रो शरीरलाई ताजा बनाउने कुनै पेय वस्तु झैं हुनेछ।

9 Honour Jehovah from thy substance, And from the beginning of all thine increase;तिम्रो सम्पत्तिले परमप्रभुको आदर गर। तिम्रो सर्वोतमबाट परमप्रभुलाई चढाऊ।

10 And filled are thy barns `with' plenty, And `with' new wine thy presses break forth.त्यस पछि तिम्रो सम्पूर्ण खाँचो पूरा हुनेछ। तिम्रा ढुकुटीहरू अन्नले भरिने छन् अनि तेरा मसकबाट दाखरस पोखिरहेको हुनेछ।

11 Chastisement of Jehovah, my son, despise not, And be not vexed with His reproof,हे मेरा छोरा, परमप्रभुको अनुशासन स्वीकार गर अनि उहाँले दण्ड दिनु भए रीस नगर। त्यसबाट शिक्षा हासिल गर।

12 For whom Jehovah loveth He reproveth, Even as a father the son He is pleased with.किनकि आफूले माया गर्नुभएका मानिसहरूलाई उहाँले सुधार्नु हुन्छ। हो, परमेश्वर बाबु जस्तै हुनुहुन्छ जुन बाबुले आफूले माया गरेको छोरालाई सजाय दिन्छ।ज्ञानहरूको आशीर्वाद

13 O the happiness of a man `who' hath found wisdom, And of a man `who' bringeth forth understanding.धन्य हो त्यो मानिस जसले ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्छ। जसले विवेक हाँसिल गर्छ त्यो धन्य हो।

14 For better `is' her merchandise Than the merchandise of silver, And than gold -- her increase.ज्ञानबाट जो लाभ हुन्छ त्यो बहुमूल्य चाँदी भन्दा असल हो। ज्ञानबाट भएको लाभ सुन भन्दा असल हो।

15 Precious she `is' above rubies, And all thy pleasures are not comparable to her.ज्ञान भौतिक मणि र माणिक भन्दा अधिक मूल्यवान हो। तिमीले चाहेको बस्तुहरूमा ज्ञान भन्दा मुल्यवान अरू हुन सक्तैन।

16 Length of days `is' in her right hand, In her left `are' wealth and honour.ज्ञानको दाहिने हातमा दीर्घायु छ भने देब्रे हातमा धन र सम्मान छ।

17 Her ways `are' ways of pleasantness, And all her paths `are' peace.ज्ञानका मार्गहरू आनन्ददायक हुन्छन् ज्ञान मार्गबाट शान्ति पाइन्छ।

18 A tree of life she `is' to those laying hold on her, And whoso is retaining her `is' happy.ज्ञान एउटा मानिसको निम्ति जीवनको बृक्ष झैं हो जसले उसलाई बलिय गरी समाउँछ अनि त्यसमा जो टाँसिएर रहेनछ संधै धन्य रहन्छन्।

19 Jehovah by wisdom did found the earth, He prepared the heavens by understanding.परमेश्वरले ज्ञानद्वारा पृथ्वी स्थापना गर्नु भयो, र सम्झ-शक्तिद्वारा आकाश सृजना गर्नु भयो।

20 By His knowledge depths have been rent, And clouds do drop dew.उहाँको ज्ञान द्वारा परमप्रभुले समुद्र र बादल सृजना गर्नु भयो जसबाट पानी पर्छ।

21 My son! let them not turn from thine eyes, Keep thou wisdom and thoughtfulness,हे मेरा छोरा, ज्ञानलाई तिम्रो विवेकशील दृष्टिबाट ओझलमा नपार। विजयहरूमा नियालेर सोच अनि होशियारीसित योजनाहरू बनाऊ।

22 And they are life to thy soul, and grace to thy neck.ज्ञान र समझ-शक्तिले तिमीलाई जीवन दिनेछन र यसले तिम्रो जीवन सुन्दर पार्नेछ।

23 Then thou goest thy way confidently, And thy foot doth not stumble.त्यसपछि तिमी सुरक्षित बस्नेछौ र तिम्रो पतन हुनेछैन। तिमी आफ्नो मार्गमा सुरक्षित भई हिडने छौ कतै पल्टनै छैनौ।

24 If thou liest down, thou art not afraid, Yea, thou hast lain down, And sweet hath been thy sleep.जब तिमी ओछ्यानमा पल्टनेछौ तिमीलाई डर लाग्दैन अनि सुत्दा घोर निद्रामा पर्नेछौ।

25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, And of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh.तिमी आकस्मिक विनाशमा कहिल्यै नडराउनु अथवा जुन विनाशमा दुष्ट मानिसहरू फँसिन्छन् त्यसमा कदापि नडराउनु।

26 For Jehovah is at thy side, And He hath kept thy foot from capture.किनभने परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको छेवैमा हुनुहुनेछ, यसर्थ उहाँले नै तिम्रो पाऊ कतै फँस्न दिनु हुन्न।

27 Withhold not good from its owners, When thy hand `is' toward God to do `it'.जब तिमी त्यो काम गर्नु योग्य छौ, अनि जो त्यसको लागि उपयुक्त छ त्यो मानिसको लागि असल कर्म गर्नु अस्वीकार नगर।

28 Say not thou to thy friend, `Go, and return, and to-morrow I give,' And substance with thee.जब तिमीसँग आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई आवश्यक परेको चीज छ र उसले पनि माग्छ भने, “भोलि आऊ” नभन, दिई हाल।

29 Devise not against thy neighbour evil, And he sitting confidently with thee.तिमीहरूका छिमेकीहरूका विरूद्ध नराम्रो योजना नबनाऊ जो तिम्रो छेउमा बस्छअनि तिमीमाथि भरोसा गर्छन।

30 Strive not with a man without cause, If he have not done thee evil.कुनै कारण बिना कसैलाई अदालतमा नघिस्याउ यदि त्यो मानिसले तिमीलाई क्षति पुर्याएको छैन भने।

31 Be not envious of a man of violence, Nor fix thou on any of his ways.उपदव्र गर्ने मानिसको इर्ष्या नगर, अनि ऊ जस्तै हुन नखोज।

32 For an abomination to Jehovah `is' the perverted, And with the upright `is' His secret counsel.किन? किनभने परमप्रभुले त्यस्ता मानिसलाई घृणा गर्नु हुन्छ, तर उहाँ इमान्दार मानिसहरूको मित्र हुनुहुन्छ।

33 The curse of Jehovah `is' in the house of the wicked. And the habitation of the righteous He blesseth.दुष्ट मानिसको घर परमप्रभुद्वारा श्रापित रहन्छ अनि इमान्दार मानिसको घर उहाँद्वारा आशीषित हुन्छ।

34 If the scorners He doth scorn, Yet to the humble He doth give grace.यदि कुनै मानिस घमण्डी छ र अन्य मानिसहरूको खिल्ली उडाउछ भने परमेश्वरले त्यस मानिसलाई दण्ड दिनु हुनेछ र खिसि गर्नु हुनेछ। तर नम्र मानिसहरू प्रति परमेश्वर दयालु हुनुहुन्छ।

35 Honour do the wise inherit, And fools are bearing away shame!ज्ञानी मानिसले आदर पाउँछन, तर मूर्ख मानिसले लाज तथा अपमान मात्र पाउँछ।
