Proverbs 2 - KJV (Nepali)

1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;मेरो छोरा! म जे भन्छु ग्रहण गर। मेरा आदेशहरू स्मरण गर।

2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;ज्ञानका कुराहरूमा ध्यान देऊ। तिम्रो समझ शिक्षाहरू तिर लगाऊ।

3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;ज्ञानका निम्ति बोलाऊ अनि समझशक्ति पाउनलाई कराऊ।

4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;चाँदी खोजे झैं ज्ञान खोज, गाड-धन खोजे झैं ज्ञान खोज।

5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.यदि तिमीले यसो गर्यौ भने परमप्रभुको डर मान्नुको अर्थ के हो तिमीले जान्न सक्ने छौ। तिमीले साँच्चै नै परमेश्वरको विषयमा जान्ने छौ।

6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.परमप्रभुले ज्ञान दिनुहुन्छ। बुद्धि अनि समझशक्तिहरू उहाँको मुखबाट बग्दछन्।

7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.उहाँले असल र ईमानदार मानिसको लागि उहाँको भण्डारमा विजय साँचेर राख्नु भएको छ।

8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.उहाँले ती मानिसहरूको रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ जो अरू प्रति स्वच्छ हुन्छन् उहाँले पवित्र मानिसहरूलाई पहाडा दिनु हुन्छ।

9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.यसर्थ परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई ज्ञान दिनुहुनेछ अनि तिमीहरूले सही, असल र न्यायपूर्वक कुराहरू बुझ्नेछौ।

10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;बुद्धि तिम्रो हृदयमा पस्नेछ अनि ज्ञान पाएर तिमीहरूको आत्मा सुखी हुनेछ।

11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:ज्ञानले तिमीलाई सुरक्षा दिनेछ र बुद्धिले तिम्रो रक्षा गर्नेछ।

12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;ज्ञान र बुद्धिले दुष्ट मानिस झैं भूल मार्गमा रहनबाट रोक्छ अनि दुष्टतापूर्वक बोल्नेहरूबाट बचाउँछ।

13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;यस्ता मानिसहरू इमान्दारी मार्गबाट हट्छन्, तिनीहरू अँध्यारो मार्गमा हिँड्छन्।

14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;तिनीहरू नराम्रो कर्म गर्न रूचाउँछन् र त्यसमा आनन्द लिन्छन्।

15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:तिनीहरूको मार्गमा भरोसा गर्न सकिंदैन, तिमीहरूका मार्गहरू कपटपूर्णछन्। तिनीहरू झूटो बोल्छन् अनि ठग्छन्। तर तिम्रो ज्ञान र बुद्धिले तिमीलाई ती चीजहरूबाट अलग्ग राख्छ।

16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;बुद्धिले तिमीहरूलाई पर-स्त्रीबाट अलग राख्छ र तिमीलाई ऊ प्रति आकर्षण गराउने मिठा कुराहरूबाट बचाउँछ।

17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.जब त्यो आइमाई तरूणी थिई त्यसले विहे गरी, तर त्यसले आफ्नो लोग्नेलाई छाडि दिई। आफूले परमेश्वरको अघि विहेको समयमा गरेको प्रतिज्ञा भूली।

18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.अनि अब उसित उसको घर जाँदा उसको घरले मृत्यु सम्मुख पुर्याउँछ। उसको पछि लाग्ने मर्नेछ।

19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.जो कोही उसको घरभित्र जान्छ उसले आफ्नो जीवन गुमाउँछ, ऊ जीवनको मार्गमा फर्कि आउँदैन।

20 That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.ज्ञानले तिमीहरूलाई असल मानिसहरूले गरेको कार्यको उदाहरण अनुशरण गर्न सहायता गर्छ अनि धर्मी मानिसहरूको जीवन रीतिमा बाँच्न सिकाउँछ।

21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.इमान्दारी मानिसहरू तिनीहरूको भूमिमा लगातार जीउने छन् अनि दोषरहित मानिसहरू त्यहाँ बस्नेछन्।

22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.तर दुष्ट मानिसहरू आफ्नो भूमि गुमाउनेछन् अनि कपटपूर्ण मानिसहरूलाई त्यस भूमिबाट हटाइनेछ।
