परमप्रभुले अरामी सेनाहरूलाई रथ, घोडा र विशाल सेनाको आवाज सुन्ने बनाउनु भएको थियो। यसर्थ अरामी सैनिकहरूले एका अर्कालाई भने, “इस्राएलका राजाले हामीमाथि आक्रमण गर्नका लागि हित्ती र मिश्रका राजाहरूलाई भाडामा लिएकाछन्।”
