Numbers 14:18
तपाईंले भन्नुभयो, ‘परमप्रभु ढिलो क्रोधित हुनुहुन्छ, परमप्रभु करूणामय हुनुहुन्छ। कानुन् अमान्य गरी जो दोषी बनिन्छ त्यस्ताहरूलाई परमप्रभुले क्षमा दिनुहुन्छ। तर जो दोषी छन् तिनीहरूलाई परमप्रभुले सदैव दण्ड दिनुहुन्छ। परमप्रभुले यस्ता मानिसहरूलाई, तिनीहरूका छोरा-छोरीहरूलाई, तिनीहरूका नाती-नातिनी तथा पनाती पनातिनीहरू सम्मलाई तिनीहरूले गरेको खराब कार्यको निम्ति दण्ड दिनुहुन्छ।’
