दलीलाले बुझिन् कि शिमशोनले उसलाई तिनको भेद बताए भनी। उसले पलिश्ती मानिसहरूका शासकहरूलाई एक सन्देश पठाइन्। उसले भनिन्, “फेरि फर्की आऊ। शिमशोनले मलाई सबै कुरा भनेकाछन्।” यसर्थ पलिश्ती मानिसहरूका शासकहरू दलीला कहाँ फर्केर आए। तिनीहरूले चाँदिका सिक्का ल्याए जो उसलाई दिन्छौं भनी तिनीहरूले वचन दिएका थिए।
