וַיִּגְּשׁ֨וּ Then va-yee-ɡeh-SHOO אֶל came el זְרֻבָּבֶ֜ל they zeh-roo-ba-VEL וְאֶל to veh-EL רָאשֵׁ֣י Zerubbabel, ra-SHAY הָֽאָב֗וֹת and ha-ah-VOTE וַיֹּֽאמְר֤וּ to va-yoh-meh-ROO לָהֶם֙ chief la-HEM נִבְנֶ֣ה the neev-NEH עִמָּכֶ֔ם of ee-ma-HEM כִּ֣י the kee כָכֶ֔ם fathers, ha-HEM נִדְר֖וֹשׁ and need-ROHSH לֵֽאלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם said lay-loh-hay-HEM וְל֣אֹ׀ unto VEL-oh אֲנַ֣חְנוּ build uh-NAHK-noo זֹֽבְחִ֗ים us zoh-veh-HEEM מִימֵי֙ Let mee-MAY אֵסַ֤ר them, ay-SAHR חַדֹּן֙ with ha-DONE מֶ֣לֶךְ you: MEH-lek אַשּׁ֔וּר for AH-shoor הַמַּֽעֲלֶ֥ה we ha-ma-uh-LEH אֹתָ֖נוּ seek oh-TA-noo פֹּֽה׃ God, poh
