एकाबिहानै परमप्रभुले बादल अनि आगोको खाँबोबाट मिश्रका सेनालाई हेर्नु भयो। अनि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई आक्रमण गर्नु भयो अनि पराजित पार्नु भयो।

रथका पाङग्राहरू भासिए अनि रथलाई नियन्त्रणमा राख्न कठिन पर्यो। मिश्रदेशका मानिसहरू जोरले कराए, “हामी यहँबाट भागौं, परमप्रभु हाम्रो विरूद्ध इस्राएलका मानिसहरूको पक्षमा लडाइँ गर्नु हुँदैछ।”

तब परमप्रभुका स्वर्गदूत मानिसहरूका पछि लागे। (परमप्रभुका स्वर्गदूत खास गरी मानिसहरूलाई डोर्याउन तिनीहरूका अघि-अघि थिए।) यसकारण बादलको खामो मानिसहरूको अघिबाट सरेर पछाडिपट्टि गयो।
