तब एलाजार यहोशापातको विरूद्ध बोले। एलाजारका पिताको नाउँ दोदाबाहु थियो। एलाजार मरेशा शहरका थिए। तिनले भने, “यहोशापात तपाईं अस्याहसित मिल्नु भयो, त्यसै कारणले परमप्रभुले तपाईंका कार्यहरू नष्ट गरिदिनु हुनेछ।” जहाजहरू भत्किए, यसर्थ यहोशापात अनि अहस्याह तिनीहरूलाई तार्शीश पठाउन समर्थ भएनन्।
