हेरोदले आफ्नो भाइकी पत्नी हेरोदियाससँग अनैतिक सम्बन्ध राखेकोले यूहन्नाले शासक हेरोदलाई झपारेका थिए, हेरोदले गरेको अरू पनि धेरै दुष्ट कार्यहरूका निम्ति यूहन्नाले उसलाई झपारेका थिए।
