जिउँदो बोका माथि हात राखेर उसले सबै पापहरू, सबै अपराधहरू अनि इस्राएली मानिसहरूले गरेको सबै भूल कर्महरू स्वीकार गर्नेछन्। यसरी मानिसहरूको सबै पाप बोकामाथि राखेर उसले त्यसलाई मरूभूमिमा जानु छाडिदिने छन्। एकजना मानिस बोकालाई मरूभूमितिर लिएर जान पर्खिरहेको हुनेछ।

and confess וְהִתְוַדָּ֣ה yādâ ya-DA
over עָלָ֗יו ʿal al
him אֶת ʾēt ate
all כָּל kōl kole
the iniquities עֲוֹנֹת֙ ʿāwōn ah-VONE
of the children בְּנֵ֣י bēn bane
of Israel, יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
וְאֶת ʾēt ate
and all כָּל kōl kole
their transgressions פִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖ם pešaʿ peh-SHA
in all לְכָל kōl kole
their sins, חַטֹּאתָ֑ם ḥaṭṭāʾâ ha-ta-AH
putting וְנָתַ֤ן nātan na-TAHN
אֹתָם֙ ʾēt ate
them upon עַל ʿal al
the head רֹ֣אשׁ rōš rohsh
of the goat, הַשָּׂעִ֔יר śāʿîr sa-EER
and shall send away וְשִׁלַּ֛ח šālaḥ sha-LAHK
by the hand בְּיַד yād yahd
man אִ֥ישׁ ʾîš eesh
of a fit עִתִּ֖י ʿittî ee-TEE
into the wilderness: הַמִּדְבָּֽרָה׃ midbār meed-BAHR
