Leviticus 11:10
नदी अनि समुद्रका सबै प्राणीहरूमा जसको पखेटा अथवा कत्ला हुँदैन त्यसलाई घृणा गर्नु अनि नखानु।

| and in the rivers, | בַּיַּמִּים֙ | bayyammîm | ba-ya-MEEM |
| all of | וּבַנְּחָלִ֔ים | ûbannĕḥālîm | oo-va-neh-ha-LEEM |
| that move | מִכֹּל֙ | mikkōl | mee-KOLE |
| waters, the in | שֶׁ֣רֶץ | šereṣ | SHEH-rets |
| and of any | הַמַּ֔יִם | hammayim | ha-MA-yeem |
| living | וּמִכֹּ֛ל | ûmikkōl | oo-mee-KOLE |
| thing | נֶ֥פֶשׁ | nepeš | NEH-fesh |
| which | הַֽחַיָּ֖ה | haḥayyâ | ha-ha-YA |
