Lamentations 5 - YLT (Nepali)

1 Remember, O Jehovah, what hath befallen us, Look attentively, and see our reproach.हे परमप्रभु, याद गर्नुहोस्, हामीमा के घटेको थियो। हाम्रो अपमान हेर्नु होस्।

2 Our inheritance hath been turned to strangers, Our houses to foreigners.हाम्रो भूमि प्रदेशीहरूको हातमा सुम्पिदिए हाम्रा घरहरू विदेशीहरूलाई सुम्पिदिए।

3 Orphans we have been -- without a father, our mothers `are' as widows.हामी अनाथ भयौं। हाम्रा पिता छैनन्। हाम्रा आमाहरू विधवा जस्ती भएकि छिन्।

4 Our water for money we have drunk, Our wood for a price doth come.हामीले पिउने पानी पनि किन्नु परेको छ। हामीले दाउराको पनि ज्याला तिर्नु परेको छ।

5 For our neck we have been pursued, We have laboured -- there hath been no rest for us.हामीलाई भञ्जयाङमा जुवा बोकेर लैजान जोर गरिइएकोछ। हामी थकित छौं र हामीलाई विश्राम छैन।

6 `To' Egypt we have given a hand, `To' Asshur, to be satisfied with bread.रोटी पाउनका लागि हामीले मिश्रसँग एउटा सम्झौता गर्यौ। हामीले अश्शूरसंग एउटा सम्झौता गर्यौं।

7 Our fathers have sinned -- they are not, We their iniquities have borne.हाम्रा पिता-पुर्खाहरूले पाप गरेका थिए अनि तिनीहरू मरेका छन्। तिनीहरूको पापको कर्म अहिले हामीले भोगी रहेका छौं।

8 Servants have ruled over us, A deliverer there is none from their hand.जो ठीक हाम्रा नोकरहरू थिए तिनीहरू हाम्रा शासक भएका छन्। कसैले पनि हामीलाई तिनीहरूबाट बचाउन सकेनन्।

9 With our lives we bring in our bread, Because of the sword of the wilderness.हामीले आहार खोज्नको लागि प्राणघातक उजाड ठाउँमा होम्रो जीवन खतरामा पार्यौ।

10 Our skin as an oven hath been burning, Because of the raging of the famine.हाम्रा छाला चुल्हा जस्तै तातेको छ। भोकको अतिशयाले गर्दा हामीलाई असाध्य ज्वरो आएको छ।

11 Wives in Zion they have humbled, Virgins -- in cities of Judah.शत्रुहरूले सियोनका स्त्रीहरूमाथि व्यभिचार गरेका छन्। तिनीहरूले यहूदाका शहरहरूमा तरूणीहरूलाई व्यभिचार गरेका छन्।

12 Princes by their hand have been hanged, The faces of elders have not been honoured.हाम्रा राजकुमारहरूलाई शत्रुले झुण्ड्याएर मारेका छन्। तिनीहरूले हाम्रा बूढा-प्रधानहरूलाई सम्मान गरेका छैनन्।

13 Young men to grind they have taken, And youths with wood have stumbled.हाम्रा जवान छोराहरू शत्रुको कमारा छन् अनि हाम्रा छोराहरूका खुट्टा शत्रुहरूको भारी कामले लर्‌वरिन्छन्।

14 The aged from the gate have ceased, Young men from their song.बूढा-प्रधानहरू शहरका मूल ढोकाहरूमा भेला हुन छाडीदिए। जवान मानिसहरूले संगीत बजाउन छाडीदिए।

15 Ceased hath the joy of our heart, Turned to mourning hath been our dancing.अब हाम्रो हृदयमा आनन्दको चिन्ह समेत पनि रहेन। हाम्रा नाचहरू शोक गीतमा परिवर्तन भएका छन्।

16 Fallen hath the crown `from' our head, Wo `is' now to us, for we have sinned.मुकुट हाम्रो टाउकोबाट झरेर गयो। हामीले गरेको पापको कारणले, हामीमा खराब समय आएकोछ।

17 For this hath our heart been sick, For these have our eyes been dim.ती कुराहरूको कारणले गर्दा, हाम्रा आँखाहरूले स्पष्ट देख्न छोड्‌यो।

18 For the mount of Zion -- that is desolate, Foxes have gone up on it.सियोन पर्वत बाँझोभूमि भयो। स्यालहरू सियोन पर्वतको वरिपरि दर्गुछन्।

19 Thou, O Jehovah, to the age remainest, Thy throne to generation and generation.तर हे परमप्रभु। तपाईंले हामीमाथि सदैव शासन गर्नुभएको छ। तपाईंको सिंहासन सदाको लागि रहन्छ।

20 Why for ever dost Thou forget us? Thou forsakest us for length of days!हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई तपाईंले सदाको लागि बिर्से जस्तो देखियो। तपाईंले त्यस्तो लामो समयदेखि हामीलाई एक्लै छाडनु भयो।

21 Turn us back, O Jehovah, unto Thee, And we turn back, renew our days as of old.हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई फेरि फर्काई तपाई कहाँ ल्याउनु होस्। हामीआनन्दले तपाई कहाँ फर्कने छौं। हामीहरूको जीवन पहिलेको जस्तै बनाईदिनु होस्।

22 For hast Thou utterly rejected us? Thou hast been wroth against us -- exceedingly?तपाई हामीप्रति अति क्रोधित हुनुहुन्थ्यो। के तपाईले हामीलाई पूर्ण प्रकारले इन्कार गर्नु भयो?
