Lamentations 5 - DBY (Nepali)

1 Remember, O Jehovah, what is come upon us; consider, and see our reproach.हे परमप्रभु, याद गर्नुहोस्, हामीमा के घटेको थियो। हाम्रो अपमान हेर्नु होस्।

2 Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.हाम्रो भूमि प्रदेशीहरूको हातमा सुम्पिदिए हाम्रा घरहरू विदेशीहरूलाई सुम्पिदिए।

3 We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.हामी अनाथ भयौं। हाम्रा पिता छैनन्। हाम्रा आमाहरू विधवा जस्ती भएकि छिन्।

4 Our water have we to drink for money, our wood cometh unto us for a price.हामीले पिउने पानी पनि किन्नु परेको छ। हामीले दाउराको पनि ज्याला तिर्नु परेको छ।

5 Our pursuers are on our necks: we are weary, we have no rest.हामीलाई भञ्जयाङमा जुवा बोकेर लैजान जोर गरिइएकोछ। हामी थकित छौं र हामीलाई विश्राम छैन।

6 We have given the hand to Egypt, [and] to Asshur, to be satisfied with bread.रोटी पाउनका लागि हामीले मिश्रसँग एउटा सम्झौता गर्यौ। हामीले अश्शूरसंग एउटा सम्झौता गर्यौं।

7 Our fathers have sinned, [and] they are not; and we bear their iniquities.हाम्रा पिता-पुर्खाहरूले पाप गरेका थिए अनि तिनीहरू मरेका छन्। तिनीहरूको पापको कर्म अहिले हामीले भोगी रहेका छौं।

8 Bondmen rule over us: there is no deliverer out of their hand.जो ठीक हाम्रा नोकरहरू थिए तिनीहरू हाम्रा शासक भएका छन्। कसैले पनि हामीलाई तिनीहरूबाट बचाउन सकेनन्।

9 We have to get our bread at the risk of our lives, because of the sword of the wilderness.हामीले आहार खोज्नको लागि प्राणघातक उजाड ठाउँमा होम्रो जीवन खतरामा पार्यौ।

10 Our skin gloweth like an oven, because of the burning heat of the famine.हाम्रा छाला चुल्हा जस्तै तातेको छ। भोकको अतिशयाले गर्दा हामीलाई असाध्य ज्वरो आएको छ।

11 They have ravished the women in Zion, the maids in the cities of Judah.शत्रुहरूले सियोनका स्त्रीहरूमाथि व्यभिचार गरेका छन्। तिनीहरूले यहूदाका शहरहरूमा तरूणीहरूलाई व्यभिचार गरेका छन्।

12 Princes were hanged up by their hand; the faces of elders were not honoured.हाम्रा राजकुमारहरूलाई शत्रुले झुण्ड्याएर मारेका छन्। तिनीहरूले हाम्रा बूढा-प्रधानहरूलाई सम्मान गरेका छैनन्।

13 The young men have borne the mill, and the youths have stumbled under the wood.हाम्रा जवान छोराहरू शत्रुको कमारा छन् अनि हाम्रा छोराहरूका खुट्टा शत्रुहरूको भारी कामले लर्‌वरिन्छन्।

14 The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their music.बूढा-प्रधानहरू शहरका मूल ढोकाहरूमा भेला हुन छाडीदिए। जवान मानिसहरूले संगीत बजाउन छाडीदिए।

15 The joy of our heart hath ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.अब हाम्रो हृदयमा आनन्दको चिन्ह समेत पनि रहेन। हाम्रा नाचहरू शोक गीतमा परिवर्तन भएका छन्।

16 The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, for we have sinned!मुकुट हाम्रो टाउकोबाट झरेर गयो। हामीले गरेको पापको कारणले, हामीमा खराब समय आएकोछ।

17 For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes have grown dim,ती कुराहरूको कारणले गर्दा, हाम्रा आँखाहरूले स्पष्ट देख्न छोड्‌यो।

18 Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate: foxes walk over it.सियोन पर्वत बाँझोभूमि भयो। स्यालहरू सियोन पर्वतको वरिपरि दर्गुछन्।

19 Thou, Jehovah, dwellest for ever; thy throne is from generation to generation.तर हे परमप्रभु। तपाईंले हामीमाथि सदैव शासन गर्नुभएको छ। तपाईंको सिंहासन सदाको लागि रहन्छ।

20 Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, dost thou forsake us so long time?हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई तपाईंले सदाको लागि बिर्से जस्तो देखियो। तपाईंले त्यस्तो लामो समयदेखि हामीलाई एक्लै छाडनु भयो।

21 Turn thou us unto thee, Jehovah, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई फेरि फर्काई तपाई कहाँ ल्याउनु होस्। हामीआनन्दले तपाई कहाँ फर्कने छौं। हामीहरूको जीवन पहिलेको जस्तै बनाईदिनु होस्।

22 Or is it that thou hast utterly rejected us? Wouldest thou be exceeding wroth against us?तपाई हामीप्रति अति क्रोधित हुनुहुन्थ्यो। के तपाईले हामीलाई पूर्ण प्रकारले इन्कार गर्नु भयो?
