Judges 14:16
यसर्थ शिमशोनकी पत्नी उसकहाँ गइन् अनि रून थालिन्। तिनले भनिन्, “तिमीले मलाई घृणा गर्छौ। तिमीले वास्तवमा मलाई प्रेम गर्दैनौ। तिमीले मेरो मानिसहरूलाई एउटा अड्को भन्यौ अनि तिमीले मलाई त्यसको उत्तर भन्दैनौ।” तर शिमशोनले तिनलाई भने, “मैले मेरो बाबु-आमालाई पनि भनेको छैन। के मैले तिमीलाई भन्नु?”

| lovest and me, | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| me not: | אֲהַבְתָּ֔נִי | ʾăhabtānî | uh-hahv-TA-nee |
| forth put hast thou | הַֽחִידָ֥ה | haḥîdâ | ha-hee-DA |
| a riddle | חַ֙דְתָּ֙ | ḥadtā | HAHD-TA |
| unto the children | לִבְנֵ֣י | libnê | leev-NAY |
| people, my of | עַמִּ֔י | ʿammî | ah-MEE |
| and hast not | וְלִ֖י | wĕlî | veh-LEE |
| told | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| said he And me. it | הִגַּ֑דְתָּה | higgadtâ | hee-ɡAHD-ta |
| unto her, Behold, | וַיֹּ֣אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| not have I | לָ֗הּ | lāh | la |

| it my father | לְאָבִ֧י | lĕʾābî | leh-ah-VEE |
