Jeremiah 47:2
परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “हेर, शत्रुका सिपाहीहरू उत्तरमा भेला भइरहेकाछन्। तिनीहरू किनारमा छालले हिर्काउँदै उर्लेको नदी जस्तै आउनेछन्। तिनीहरूले बाढीले झैं सारा देश शहरहरू र त्यहाँ बस्ने मानिसहरू ढाक्नेछन्। त्यस देशका मानिसहरूले विलौना गर्नेछन् तथा गुहार माग्नेछन्।

| out of the north, | מִצָּפוֹן֙ | miṣṣāpôn | mee-tsa-FONE |
| be shall and | וְהָיוּ֙ | wĕhāyû | veh-ha-YOO |
| an overflowing | לְנַ֣חַל | lĕnaḥal | leh-NA-hahl |
| flood, | שׁוֹטֵ֔ף | šôṭēp | shoh-TAFE |
| overflow shall and | וְיִשְׁטְפוּ֙ | wĕyišṭĕpû | veh-yeesh-teh-FOO |
| the land, | אֶ֣רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| therein; is that all and | וּמְלוֹאָ֔הּ | ûmĕlôʾāh | oo-meh-loh-AH |
| the city, | עִ֖יר | ʿîr | eer |
| dwell that them and | וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי | wĕyōšĕbê | veh-YOH-sheh-vay |
| men the then therein: | בָ֑הּ | bāh | va |
| shall cry, | וְזָֽעֲקוּ֙ | wĕzāʿăqû | veh-za-uh-KOO |
| and all | הָֽאָדָ֔ם | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| inhabitants the | וְהֵילִ֕ל | wĕhêlil | veh-hay-LEEL |
| of the land | כֹּ֖ל | kōl | kole |
| shall howl. | יוֹשֵׁ֥ב | yôšēb | yoh-SHAVE |
| הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
