Jeremiah 42:14
तिमीहरूले भन्न सक्छौ, ‘हामी मिश्रमा जानेछौं जहाँ हामी युद्धको सम्मुखिन हुनु पर्दैन, मिश्रमा हामीले युद्धको तुरहीहरू सुन्नु पर्दैन, हामी भोक भोकै बस्नुपर्दैन।’

| of Egypt, | נָב֔וֹא | nābôʾ | na-VOH |
| where | אֲשֶׁ֤ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| we shall see | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| no | נִרְאֶה֙ | nirʾeh | neer-EH |
| war, | מִלְחָמָ֔ה | milḥāmâ | meel-ha-MA |
| nor | וְק֥וֹל | wĕqôl | veh-KOLE |
| hear | שׁוֹפָ֖ר | šôpār | shoh-FAHR |
| the sound | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| of the trumpet, | נִשְׁמָ֑ע | nišmāʿ | neesh-MA |
| nor | וְלַלֶּ֥חֶם | wĕlalleḥem | veh-la-LEH-hem |
| hunger have | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| of bread; | נִרְעָ֖ב | nirʿāb | neer-AV |
| and there | וְשָׁ֥ם | wĕšām | veh-SHAHM |
| will we dwell: | נֵשֵֽׁב׃ | nēšēb | nay-SHAVE |
