Jeremiah 38:18
तर यदि तिमीले आत्मा समर्पण गर्न अस्वीकार गर्यौ भने यरूशलेम बेबीलियोनका सेनालाई सुम्पिइने छ। तिनीहरूले यरूशलेमलाई जलाएर भस्म पार्ने छन्, अनि तिमी पनि तिनीहरूबाट जोगिने छैनौ।”‘

| city | הָעִ֤יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| be given | הַזֹּאת֙ | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| hand the into | בְּיַ֣ד | bĕyad | beh-YAHD |
| of the Chaldeans, | הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים | hakkaśdîm | ha-kahs-DEEM |
| and they shall burn | וּשְׂרָפ֖וּהָ | ûśĕrāpûhā | oo-seh-ra-FOO-ha |
| fire, with it | בָּאֵ֑שׁ | bāʾēš | ba-AYSH |
| and thou | וְאַתָּ֖ה | wĕʾattâ | veh-ah-TA |
