1 Wo `to' Ariel, Ariel, The city of the encampment of David! Add year to year, let festivals go round.परमेश्वरले भन्नुहुन्छ, “अरीएलमा हेर! अरीएल। त्यो शहर, जहाँ दाऊदले छाउनी बनाएका थिए। उसको छुट्टीहरू, र्बष पछि लगातार भयो।

2 And I have sent distress to Ariel, And it hath been lamentation and mourning, And it hath been to me as Ariel.मैले अरीएललाई दण्डित गरें। त्यो शहर खिन्नता र विलापले परिपूर्ण भयो। तर सधैं मेरो अरीएल भई।

3 And I encamped, O babbler, against thee, And I laid siege against thee -- a camp. And I raised up against thee bulwarks.अरीएल मैले तिम्रो वरिपरि सैनिकहरू तैनाथ पारें र राखें। मैले तिम्रो विरूद्ध विशाल युद्ध आह्वान गरें तिमी पराजित भयौ।

4 And thou hast been low, From the earth thou speakest, And from the dust makest thy saying low, And thy voice hath been from the earth, As one having a familiar spirit, And from the dust thy saying whisperest,अनि भूईंमा ढल्यौ। अब, म भूईंबाट प्रेतको आवाज जस्तो तिम्रो आवाज सुन्दछु तिम्रो शब्दहरू मैलाबाट आउने सुक्खा आवाज जस्तो छ।”

5 And as small dust hath been The multitude of those scattering thee, And as chaff passing on the multitude of the terrible, And it hath been at an instant -- suddenly.त्यहाँ धूलोका कणहरू जस्तै धेरैजना विदेशीहरू छन्। त्यहाँ हावामा उडने फूलको पराग जस्तै धेरै क्रुर मानिसहरू छन्। अचानक तिमीकहाँ नै आउनेछन्।

6 By Jehovah of Hosts thou art inspected, With thunder, and with an earthquake, And great noise, hurricane, and whirlwind, And flame of devouring fire.सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई भूईंचालो, बज्रपात र डरलाग्दो होहल्लाद्वारा दण्ड दिनु हुन्छ। भुवँरी, आँधी-बेरी र आगो थिए, जेले जलाउँछन अनि नष्ट पार्छ।

7 And as a dream, a vision of night, hath been The multitude of all the nations Who are warring against Ariel, And all its warriors, and its bulwark, Even of those distressing her.धेरै-धेरै जातिहरू अरीएलको विरूद्ध युद्ध गर्न तयार भए यो एक भयानक सपना जस्तो थियो। सैनिकहरूले अरीएललाई घेरेर दण्डित गरे।

8 And it hath been, as when the hungry dreameth, And lo, he is eating, And he hath waked, and empty `is' his soul, And as when the thirsty dreameth, And lo, he is drinking, and he hath waked, And lo, he is weary, and his soul is longing, So is the multitude of all the nations Who are warring against mount Zion.तर यो पनि सैन्यहरूको लागि सपना जस्तै भयो। तिनीहरूले मन पराएको केही भेटेनन्। यो एक जना भोको मानिसले भोजनको सपना देखे जस्तै थियो। जब त्यो मानिस ब्यूँझिन्छ, ऊ भोकै हुनेछ। यो एकजना तिर्खाएको मानिसले देखेको पानीको सपना जस्तै हुनेछ। जब मानिस ब्यूँझन्छ, ऊ तिर्खाएकै हुन्छ। यो सियोनको विरोधमा लड्ने प्रत्येक राष्ट्रको लागि साँचो हो, ती राष्ट्रहरू सन्तुष्ट थिएनन्।

9 Tarry and wonder, look ye, yea, look, Be drunk, and not with wine, Stagger, and not with strong drink.आश्चर्यचकित र छक्क पर। तर दाखरस पिएर होइन तिमी घरमरिदै लड्नेछौ।

10 For poured out on you hath Jehovah a spirit of deep sleep, And He closeth your eyes -- the prophets, And your heads -- the seers -- He covered.परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूमा गहीरो निद्रा ल्याइदिनु भएको छ। परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूका आँखाहरू बन्द गरिदिनु हुनेछ। (अगमवक्ताहरू नै तिमीहरूको आँखाहरू बन्नेछ।) परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूका टाउकाहरू छोपि दिनुहुनेछ (अगमवक्ताहरू तिमीहरूका शिर हुनेछन्।

11 And the vision of the whole is to you, As words of the sealed book, That they give unto one knowing books, Saying, `Read this, we pray thee,' And he hath said, `I am not able, for it `is' sealed;'यी कुरारू घट्ने छन् म तिमीहरूलाई भन्छु, तर तिमीहरूले मलाई बुझ्ने छैनौ। मेरा शब्दहरू त्यस्ता शब्दहरू हुन् जो पुस्तकमा बन्द र मोहर लगाएको छ। तिमीले त्यो पुस्तक त्यस मानिसलाई दिनसक्छौ जसले पढन सक्छ, अनि त्यस मानिसलाई त्यो पुस्तक पढनु भन्। तर त्यस मानिसले भन्नेछ, “म त्यो पुस्तक पढन सक्तिनँ, यो बन्द छ र म खोल्नु सक्तिनँ”

12 And the book is given to him who hath not known books, Saying, `Read this, we pray thee,' And he hath said, `I have not known books.'अथवा तिमीले त्यो पुस्तक त्यस मानिसलाई दिन सक्छौ जसले पढन सक्दैन्। अनि त्यस मानिसलाई पढ भनेर भन्। त्यस मानिसले भन्नेछ, “म यो पुस्तक पढन सक्तिन किनभने म पढन जान्दिन्।”

13 And the Lord saith: Because drawn near hath this people, with its mouth, And with its lips they have honoured Me, And its heart it hath put far off from Me, And their fear of Me is -- A precept of men is taught!मेरो मालिकले भन्नुहुन्छ, “ती मानिसहरूले मलाई प्रेम गर्छु भन्छन्। तिनीहरूले मलाई मुखबाट शब्दहरू निकालेर सम्मान दर्शाउँछन्। तर तिनीहरूका हृदय मबाट धेरै टाढा छ। तिनीहरूले मप्रति दर्शाएका आदर अनि गौरव केही होइन तिनीहरूले केवल मानव विधिहरू स्मरण गरेका मात्र हुन्।

14 Therefore, lo, I am adding to do wonderfully with this people, A wonder, and a marvel, And perished hath the wisdom of its wise ones, And the understanding of its intelligent ones hideth itself.'यसैले म तिनीहरूलाई लगातार प्रभाव पूर्ण र अचम्म लाग्दा कामहरू गरेर चकित पारिरहन्छु। तिनीहरूका ज्ञानी मानिसहरूले आफ्ना विवेकहरू हराउनेछन्। तिनीहरूमा बुझ्ने क्षमता हुँदैन।”

15 Wo `to' those going deep from Jehovah to hide counsel, And whose works have been in darkness. And they say, `Who is seeing us? And who is knowing us?'ती मानिसहरू धेरै कुराहरू परमप्रभुबाट लुकाउने कोशिश गर्दछन्। तिमीहरूले सोच्दछन् कि परमप्रभुले बुझ्नु हुन्न्। तिनीहरूले आफ्नो दुष्ट कार्यहरू अँध्यारोमा गर्नेछन्, तिनीहरूले आफैलाई भन्ने छन्, “कसैले पनि हामीलाई देख्न सक्तैन। हामी को हौं भनेर पनि कसैले चिन्दैन।”

16 Your perversion! as clay is the potter esteemed? That the work saith of its maker, `He hath not made me?' And the framed thing said of its framer, `He did not understand?'तिमी अन्योलमा पर्नेछौ। तिमी माटो र कुमालेलाई बराबर हो भन्ने सोच्छौ। तिमी सोच्छौ एउटा चीज जुन बनाइन्छ त्यसले आफ्नो सृष्टिकर्तालाई भन्न सक्छ, “तिमीले मलाई बनाएनौ।” यो आफूलाई सृष्टि गर्नेलाई भनिरहेको भाडाँ जस्तै हो, “तिमी बुझ्दैनौं।”

17 Is it not yet a very little, And turned hath Lebanon to a fruitful field, And the fruitful field for a forest is reckoned?यो सत्य हो। केही समय पछि कर्मेल पर्वत झैं लबानोनले मलिलो माटो पाउनेछ अनि कर्मेल पर्वतको खेतहरू बाक्ला बन जस्तै हुनेछन्।

18 And heard in that day have the deaf the words of a book, And out of thick darkness, and out of darkness, The eyes of the blind do see.बहिराले पुस्तकको शब्दहरू सुन्नेछ। अन्धाले अन्धकारमय कुहिरोबाट देख्नेछ।

19 And the humble have added joy in Jehovah, And the poor among men In the Holy One of Israel rejoice.परमप्रभुले दीन, दुःखीहरूलाई खुशी बनाउनु हुनेछ। ती दुखी मानिसहरूले इस्राएलको परम पवित्रतामा आनन्द मानाउनेछन्।

20 For ceased hath the terrible one, And consumed hath been the scorner, And cut off have been all watching for iniquity,दुष्ट र निर्दयी मानिसहरूको अन्त भएपछि यस्तो घटना हुनेछ। जब ती मानिसहरूले नराम्रा कामहरू गर्दै आनन्द लुटिरहेको दिनहरू समाप्त भएपछि यस्तो घटना हुनेछ।

21 Causing men to sin in word, And for a reprover in the gate lay a snare, And turn aside into emptiness the righteous.ती मानिसहरूले असल मानिसहरूका बारेमा झूटो कुरा गर्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूलाई न्यायालयमा पुर्याउन खोज्दछन्। ती निर्दोष मानिसहरूलाई नाश पार्न चाहन्छ।

22 Therefore, thus said Jehovah, Who ransomed Abraham, Concerning the house of Jacob: `Not now ashamed is Jacob, Nor now doth his face become pale,यसैले परमप्रभु याकूबका परिवारसित बात मार्नु हुन्छ। उहाँ उही परमप्रभु हुनुहुन्छ जसले अब्राहामलाई स्वतन्त्र पार्नु भयो। परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “अब याकूब लज्जित र व्याकुल हुनेछैन् न त तिनीहरूको अनुहार पहेंलो हुनेछ।

23 For in his seeing his children, The work of My hand, in his midst, They sanctify My name, And have sanctified the Holy One of Jacob, And the God of Israel they declare fearful.उसले आफ्नो छोरा-छोरीहरू देख्नेछ अनि उसले मलाई मेरो नाउँ पवित्र छ भन्नेछ। ती केटा-केटीलाई मैले आफ्ना हातहरूले बनाएँ। अनि ती केटा-केटीहरूले याकूबका पर-मपवित्र एकदमै विशेष प्रकारको रहेछ भन्नेछन्। ती केटाकेटीहरूले इस्राएलका परमेश्वरलाई मान्ने छन्।

24 And the erring in spirit have known understanding, And murmurers learn doctrine!'धेरै जना मानिसहरूले बुझेनन् यसैले तिनीहरूले गल्ती कामहरू गरे। ती मानिसहरूले बुझेनन्, तर तिनीहरूले आफ्नो शिक्षा पाउनेछन्।”
