त्यसपछि अब्रामले त्यस ठाउँ छाडी बेतेलको पूर्वको पहाडतिर यात्रा गरे अनि तिनले त्यहीं आफ्नो पाल बनाए। त्यस ठाउँबाट बेतेल पश्चिममा थियो र ऐ शहर पूर्वमा पर्थ्यो। तिनले त्यस ठाउँमा परमप्रभुको निम्ति वेदी बनाए अनि परमप्रभुको उपासना गरे।
