Genesis 10 - DBY (Nepali)

1 And these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and to them were sons born after the flood.नूहका छोराहरु शेम, हाम र येपेत थिए र यिनीहरुको पारिवारिक इतिहास यही हो। नूहको छोराहरुका धेरै सन्तानहरु भए।येपेतका सन्तानहरु

2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.येपेतका छोराहरु थिए गोमेर, मागोग, मादे, यावान, तूबल, मेशेक र तीरास।

3 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.गोमेरका छोराहरु थिए अशकनज, रीपत र तोगर्मा

4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.याबानका छोराहरु थिए-एलीशा, तर्शोश, कित्तीम र दोदानीम।

5 From these came the distribution of the isles of the nations, according to their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.तिनीहरुबाटै समुद्रतट वासीहरु फिंजिए। तिनीहरुको देशभित्र आफ्नो भाषा र जाति अनुसार फिंजिए। यी सबै येपेतका छोराहरु थिए।हामका सन्तानहरु

6 And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.हामका छोराहरु थिए कूश, मिश्र, पूत र कनान।

7 And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.कूशका छोहरु थिए-सबा, हवीला, सबता, रामा र सबतका। रामाका छोराहरु थिए-शबा र ददान।

8 And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.निम्रोद कूशको छोरा थियो। निम्रोद ज्यादै शक्तिशाली योद्धा बनिने पहिले मानिस थिए।

9 He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah; therefore it is said, As Nimrod, the mighty hunter before Jehovah!परमप्रभुको महान योद्धा शिकारीहरु मध्ये एकजना थिए। त्यसकारण मानिसहरु निम्रोदसित तुलना गर्छन् अनि भन्दछन्, “यो मानिस परमप्रभुको दृष्टिमा निम्रोद जस्तै राम्रो शिकारी हो।”

10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.शुरूमा तिनको राज्य शिनारको बाबेल, एरेक, अक्कद र कल्ने थियो।

11 From that land went out Asshur, and built Nineveh, and Rehoboth-Ir, and Calah,यहाँबाट तिनी अश्शूर गए अनि नीनवे, रहोबोतीर र कालह शहरहरु बनाए।

12 and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah: this is the great city.कालह र नीनवे माझ तिनले शहर रेसेन बनाए। ती शहरहरु मध्ये कालह सबै भन्दा ठूलो थियो।

13 -- And Mizraim begot the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,मिश्र, लूद, अनाम, लहाब, नप्तूह,

14 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim, out of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.पत्रुस, कसलू अनि कपतोर मानिसहरुका पिता थिए। (पलिश्ती मानिसहरु कसलूका सन्तान थिए।)

15 -- And Canaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth,कनान सीदोनका पिता थिए र त्यो नै कनानका जेठो छोरो थियो। कनान हेत मानिसहरूका पिता थिए।

16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,कनानबाट हित्ती, यबूसी, एमोरी, गिर्गाशी,

17 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,हिब्बा, अर्कोत र सिनीत मानिसहरु,

18 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. And afterwards the families of the Canaanites spread themselves abroad.अर्वादी, समारी र हमाती मानिसहरु उत्पन्न भए। यसरी कनानका सन्तानहरु संसारका जताततै फिंजिए।

19 And the border of the Canaanite was from Sidon, as one goes to Gerar, up to Gazah; as one goes to Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, up to Lesha.कनानी मानिसहरुको भूमिको सिमाना उत्तरमा सीदोनदेखि दक्षिणमा गरारसम्म, पश्चिममा गाजादेखि सदोमसम्म र पूर्वमा गमोरा, अदाम र सबोयीमदेखि लाशासम्म थियो।

20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.ती सब मानिसहरु हामका सन्तान थिए र ती सबै मानिसहरुको आफ्नो-आफ्नो भाषा र आफ्नै भूमि थियो र तिनीहरुको एउटा अलगै राज्य थियो।

21 And to Shem -- to him also were [sons] born; he is the father of all the sons of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder.शेम येपेतका जेठा दाज्यू थिए। शेमका सन्तानहरुमा एक जना एबेर सबै हिब्रु मानिसहरुका पिता थिए।

22 The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.शेमका छोराहरु एलाम, अश्शूर, अर्पक्षद, लूद अराम थिए।

23 And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.अरामका छोराहरु ऊज, हुल, गेतेर अनि मश थिए।

24 -- And Arphaxad begot Shelah; and Shelah begot Eber.अर्पक्षद शेलहका पिता थिए, शेलह एबेरका पिता थिए थिए,

25 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.एबेर दुइजना छोराहरूका पिता थिए जसमा एकजनाको नाउँ पेलेग थियो। उसलाई पेलेग नाउँ राखिएको कारण उसकै जीवनकालमा पृथ्वी विभक्त भएको थियो। अर्को छोरोको नाउँ योक्तान थियो।

26 And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,योक्तान अल्मोदाद, शेलेप, हसर्मवित र येरह,

27 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,हदोराम, ऊजाल, दिक्ला,

28 and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,ओबाल, अबमाएल, शबा,

29 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were sons of Joktan.ओपीर, हवीला अनि योबाबको पिता थिए। यी सबै मानिसहरु योक्तानका छोराहरू थिए।

30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as one goes to Sephar, the eastern mountain.ती सबै मानिसहरू मेशा र पूर्वमा पहाडी भूमि इलाकामा बसो बास गर्थे। मेशा सापारा भूमितिर पर्थ्यो।

31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.ती मानिसहरु शेमको परिवारका थिए। तिनीहरु आफ्नो वंश, परिवार, भाषा, भूमि र राष्टमा गठित थिए।

32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations. And from these came the distribution of the nations on the earth after the flood.नूहका सन्तानको वंश अनुसार तिनीहरुका जातिहरु यी नै थिए। यिनीहरु आफ्ना आफ्ना राष्ट्रमा गठित थिए अनि जल-प्रलय पछि तिनीहरूबाट नै पृथ्वीमा सबै मानिसहरु फिंजिएका थिए।
