यस चाडमा तिमीहरूले अखमिरी रोटी सात दिनसम्म खाने छौ। यस पवित्र चाडको पहिलो दिन तिमीहरूले आफ्नो-आफ्नो घरबाट समस्त खमीर बाहिर निकाल्ने छौ। यो पवित्र चाडमा सात दिनसम्म कसैले पनि खमीर खाने छैनौ। यदि कसैले खमीर त्यस समयमा खायो भने त्यसलाई अरू इस्राएलीबाट बहिष्कृत गरिनेछ।
