Psalm 118
1 परमप्रभुलाई आदर गर किनभने उहाँ परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा सर्वदा रहनेछ!
2 इस्राएल ले यसो भन्छ, “उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा सदा सर्वदा रहनेछ!”
3 पूजाहारीहरू यसो भन्छन्, “उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा अनन्त सम्म रहनेछ!”
4 मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुलाई पुज्दै यसो भन्दछन्, “उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा अनन्त रहनेछ!”
5 म संकटहरूमा फँसेको थिएँ। यसैले सहायताको निम्ति मैले परमप्रभुलाई डाकें। परमप्रभुले त्यसको जवाफ दिनुभयो अनि मलाई मुक्त पार्नुभयो।
6 परमप्रभु मसँग हुनुहुन्छ, यसैले म भयभीत छैन। मानिसहरूले मलाई कुनै प्रकारको हानी पुर्याउन सक्तैन।
7 परमप्रभु मेरो सहयोगी हुनुहुन्छ म मेरो शत्रुहरू परास्त भएको देख्नेछु।
8 मानिसहरूमा भरोसा राख्नु भन्दा परमप्रभुमाथि नै भरोसा राख्नु उत्तम हो।
9 तिमीहरूका नेताहरूमा भरोसा राख्नु भन्दा परमप्रभुमाथि नै भरोसा राख्नु उत्तम हो।
10 धेरै शत्रुहरूले मलाई घेरेर राखे तर परमप्रभुको शक्तिले ती शत्रुहरूलाई मैले परास्त पारें।
11 शत्रुहरूले मलाई घरि-घरि हेरी रहे। मैले तिनीहरूलाई परमप्रभुको शक्तिले परास्त पार्दै गएँ।
12 शत्रुहरूले मलाई त्यसरी घेरे जसरी भीर माउरीहरूले घेर्दछ। तर, तिनीहरू छिट्टै नाश भएर गए जसरी पराल एकै छिनमा जलेर जान्छ। मैले तिनीहरूलाई परमप्रभुको शक्तिले परास्त पारें।
13 मेरो शत्रुहरूले ममा आक्रमण गरे अनि लगभग नष्ट गरीसकेका थिए। तर परमप्रभुले मलाई साथ दिनुभयो।
14 परमप्रभु मेरो शक्ति र विजयी गीत हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँले मलाई बचाउनु हुन्छ!
15 तिमीले विजयी उत्सवहरू शिष्ट मानिसहरूका घरमा मानेको हुन सक्छौ। परमप्रभुले आफ्नो महान् प्रभाव फेरि एकपल्ट दर्शाउनु भयो।
16 परमप्रभुको पाखुराहरू विजयी भएर उठे। परमप्रभुले आफ्नो महान् प्रभाव फेरि एकपल्ट दर्शाउनु भयो।
17 म बाँच्ने छु मर्ने छैन अनि परमप्रभुले के गर्नुभयो भनेर बताउनेछु।
18 परमप्रभुले मलाई दण्ड दिनु भयो, तर उहाँले मलाई मर्न दिनु भएन।
19 असल प्रवेशद्वारहरू, मेरो निम्ति खोलियो अनि म भित्र आउने छु र परमप्रभुलाई पूज्ने छु।
20 तिनीहरू परमप्रभुको प्रवेशद्वारहरू हुन्। विशेष धर्मी मानिसहरू मात्र त्यहाँबाट जान सक्दछन्।
21 परमप्रभुले, मेरो प्रार्थनाको जवाफ दिनु भएकोमा धन्यवाद प्रकट गर्दछु। मलाई बचाउनु भएकोमा धन्यवाद प्रकट गर्छु।
22 जुन ढुङ्गा निर्माणकर्ताहरूले लिन चाहेनन्। त्यही मूल ढुङ्गाहुन गयो।
23 परमप्रभुले यस्तो बनाउनु भयो। अनि हामीले यसलाई आश्चर्यजनक भनेर सोच्यौ!
24 आज त्यो दिन हो जुन परमप्रभुले बनाउनु भयो। फेरि आज प्रफुल्लित र खुशी हौं!
25 मानिसहरूले भने, “परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर! परमप्रभुले हामीलाई बचाउनु हुन्छ!
26 परमप्रभुको नाउँ गरेर आउने मानिसहरूलाई स्वागत छ।” पूजाहारीहरूले जवाफ दिए। “हामी तिमीहरूलाई परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा स्वागत गर्दछौं!
27 परमप्रभुनै परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। अनि उहाँले हामीलाई ग्रहण गर्नु हुन्छ। भेंडाका पाठालाई बलिदानको लागि बाँध अनि यसलाई वेदीको सींङ तर्फ ल्याऊ।”
28 परमप्रभु, तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद दिन्छु। म तपाइको प्रशंसा गर्छु।
29 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर किनभने उहाँ भलो हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा सदा सर्वदा रहेनेछ।
1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7 The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
14 The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord:
20 This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
29 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

1 परमप्रभुलाई आदर गर किनभने उहाँ परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा सर्वदा रहनेछ!
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2 इस्राएल ले यसो भन्छ, “उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा सदा सर्वदा रहनेछ!”
Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 पूजाहारीहरू यसो भन्छन्, “उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा अनन्त सम्म रहनेछ!”
Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुलाई पुज्दै यसो भन्दछन्, “उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा अनन्त रहनेछ!”
Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 म संकटहरूमा फँसेको थिएँ। यसैले सहायताको निम्ति मैले परमप्रभुलाई डाकें। परमप्रभुले त्यसको जवाफ दिनुभयो अनि मलाई मुक्त पार्नुभयो।
I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
6 परमप्रभु मसँग हुनुहुन्छ, यसैले म भयभीत छैन। मानिसहरूले मलाई कुनै प्रकारको हानी पुर्याउन सक्तैन।
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7 परमप्रभु मेरो सहयोगी हुनुहुन्छ म मेरो शत्रुहरू परास्त भएको देख्नेछु।
The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8 मानिसहरूमा भरोसा राख्नु भन्दा परमप्रभुमाथि नै भरोसा राख्नु उत्तम हो।
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
9 तिमीहरूका नेताहरूमा भरोसा राख्नु भन्दा परमप्रभुमाथि नै भरोसा राख्नु उत्तम हो।
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
10 धेरै शत्रुहरूले मलाई घेरेर राखे तर परमप्रभुको शक्तिले ती शत्रुहरूलाई मैले परास्त पारें।
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.
11 शत्रुहरूले मलाई घरि-घरि हेरी रहे। मैले तिनीहरूलाई परमप्रभुको शक्तिले परास्त पार्दै गएँ।

They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
13 मेरो शत्रुहरूले ममा आक्रमण गरे अनि लगभग नष्ट गरीसकेका थिए। तर परमप्रभुले मलाई साथ दिनुभयो।
Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
14 परमप्रभु मेरो शक्ति र विजयी गीत हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँले मलाई बचाउनु हुन्छ!
The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 तिमीले विजयी उत्सवहरू शिष्ट मानिसहरूका घरमा मानेको हुन सक्छौ। परमप्रभुले आफ्नो महान् प्रभाव फेरि एकपल्ट दर्शाउनु भयो।
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
16 परमप्रभुको पाखुराहरू विजयी भएर उठे। परमप्रभुले आफ्नो महान् प्रभाव फेरि एकपल्ट दर्शाउनु भयो।
The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
17 म बाँच्ने छु मर्ने छैन अनि परमप्रभुले के गर्नुभयो भनेर बताउनेछु।
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
18 परमप्रभुले मलाई दण्ड दिनु भयो, तर उहाँले मलाई मर्न दिनु भएन।
The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
19 असल प्रवेशद्वारहरू, मेरो निम्ति खोलियो अनि म भित्र आउने छु र परमप्रभुलाई पूज्ने छु।
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord:
20 तिनीहरू परमप्रभुको प्रवेशद्वारहरू हुन्। विशेष धर्मी मानिसहरू मात्र त्यहाँबाट जान सक्दछन्।
This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 परमप्रभुले, मेरो प्रार्थनाको जवाफ दिनु भएकोमा धन्यवाद प्रकट गर्दछु। मलाई बचाउनु भएकोमा धन्यवाद प्रकट गर्छु।
I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 जुन ढुङ्गा निर्माणकर्ताहरूले लिन चाहेनन्। त्यही मूल ढुङ्गाहुन गयो।

23 परमप्रभुले यस्तो बनाउनु भयो। अनि हामीले यसलाई आश्चर्यजनक भनेर सोच्यौ!
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 आज त्यो दिन हो जुन परमप्रभुले बनाउनु भयो। फेरि आज प्रफुल्लित र खुशी हौं!
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 मानिसहरूले भने, “परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर! परमप्रभुले हामीलाई बचाउनु हुन्छ!
Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 परमप्रभुको नाउँ गरेर आउने मानिसहरूलाई स्वागत छ।” पूजाहारीहरूले जवाफ दिए। “हामी तिमीहरूलाई परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा स्वागत गर्दछौं!
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 परमप्रभुनै परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। अनि उहाँले हामीलाई ग्रहण गर्नु हुन्छ। भेंडाका पाठालाई बलिदानको लागि बाँध अनि यसलाई वेदीको सींङ तर्फ ल्याऊ।”
God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 परमप्रभु, तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ। म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद दिन्छु। म तपाइको प्रशंसा गर्छु।
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
29 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर किनभने उहाँ भलो हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणा सदा सर्वदा रहेनेछ।
