Deuteronomy 23 - BBE (Nepali)

1 No man whose private parts have been wounded or cut off may come into the meeting of the Lord's people.“गुप्ताअंग कुच्चिएका अथवा लिङ्ग काटिएका मानिसहरूले इस्राएलका मानिसहरूसंग परमप्रभुको पूजामा भाग लिन सएदैनन्।

2 One whose father and mother are not married may not come into the meeting of the Lord's people, or any of his family to the tenth generation.यदि कसैको माता-पिताको विधिपूर्वक विवाह भएको छैन। तिनीहरू पूजामा सम्मिलित हुन पाउने छैनन्। दश पुस्तासम्म तिनीहरूका सन्तानहरूले पनि पूजामा मिसिन पाउने छैनन्।

3 No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their people to the tenth generation may come into the meeting of the Lord's people:“अम्मोनी र मोआबी तथा तिनीहरूका सन्तानले दश पुस्तासम्म परमप्रभुको सभामा इस्राएल बासीहरूसँग सम्मिलित हुन सक्तैनन्।

4 Because they gave you no bread or water on your way, when you came out of Egypt: and they got Balaam, the son of Peor, from Pethor in Aram-naharaim to put curses on you.किन? किनभने तिनीहरूले मिश्र देशबाट निएलेर यात्रा गरेको समयमा तिमीहरूलाई रोटी र पानी दिन अस्वीकार गरेका थिए। तिनीहरूले मेसोपोटामियामा पतोरको शहरमा बस्ने बओरको छोरा बिलामलाई तिमीहरूलाई सराप्नुको निम्ति पैसा दिएर बोलाए।

5 But the Lord your God would not give ear to Balaam, but let the curse be changed into a blessing to you, because of his love for you.तर परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले बिलामका कुरा सुन्नु भएन र तिनको सराप परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूको निम्ति आशीर्वादमा परिणत गरिदिनु भयो। कारण परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूलाई प्रेम गर्नुहुन्थ्यो।

6 Do nothing for their peace or well-being for ever.जबसम्म तिमीहरू बाँचिरहन्छौ तबसम्म अम्मोनी र मोआबीहरूसित कहिल्यै सन्धि स्थापित गर्नु हुँदैन तथा कदापि तिनीहरूसित मैत्री सन्धि गर्नु हुँदैन।

7 But have no hate for an Edomite, because he is your brother, or for an Egyptian, for you were living in his land.“तिमीहरूले एदोमीहरूलाई घृणा गर्नु हुँदैन कारण उनीहरू तिमीहरूको सम्बन्धीहरू हो। तिमीहरूले इस्राएलीलाई घृणा गर्नु हुँदैन कारण तिनीहरूको भूमिमा तिमीहरू विदेशी थियौ।

8 Their children in the third generation may come into the meeting of the Lord's people.एदोमीहरू र मिश्र देशवासीहरूका तेस्त्रो पुस्ताका सन्तानहरूबाट इस्राएलीहरूसित परमप्रभुको पूजामा सामेल हुनु सएछन्।

9 When you go out to war and put your tents in position, keep from every evil thing.“जब तिमीहरूका सिपाहीहरू आफ्नो शत्रुहरूसँग लडन युद्ध गर्न जान्छन प्रत्येक चीजबाट टाढामा बस्छन् जसले तिमीहरूलाई अशुद्ध बनाउँछ।

10 If any man among you becomes unclean through anything which has taken place in the night, he is to go out from the tent-circle and keep outside it:यदि तिमीहरूमध्ये केही स्वप्न दोषले अशुद्ध भएका छौ भने उसले छाउनी बाहिर जानु पर्छ।

11 But when evening comes near, let him take a bath: and after sundown he may come back to the tents.जब बेलुकी हुन्छ उसले पानीमा नुहाउनु पर्छ अनि सूर्य अस्तापछि ऊ फेरि छाउनीमा फर्किन सएछ।

12 Let there be a place outside the tent-circle to which you may go;“तिमीहरूले छाउनी बाहिर यस्तो ठाउँ पनि बनाउनु पर्छ जहाँ तिमीहरू दिसा गर्न सएछौ।

13 And have among your arms a spade; and when you have been to that place, let that which comes from you be covered up with earth:तिमीहरूले आफ्ना अरू हतियारसंगै एउटा खन्ती पनि राख्नु पर्छ र जब दिसा लाग्छ खाडल खन्नु पर्छ अनि दिसा गरी त्यसलाई पुर्नु पर्छ।

14 For the Lord your God is walking among your tents, to keep you safe and to give up into your hands those who are fighting against you; then let your tents be holy, so that he may see no unclean thing among you, and be turned away from you.किन? किनभने परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर तिमीहरूको रक्षा गर्न अनि शत्रुहरूलाई तिमीहरूको नियन्त्रणमा ल्याउनलाई छाउनीभित्र बाहिर तिमीहरूसँगै हुनु हुनेछ। यसकारण छाउनी पवित्र राख्नु पर्छ। यदि परमप्रभुले केही कुरा घिनलाग्दो देख्नु भयो भने उहाँ तिमीहरूदेखि गईहाल्नु हुन्छ।

15 Do not give back to his master a servant who has gone in flight from his master and come to you:“यदि कुनै कमारो भागेर तिमीहरूकहाँ आफ्नो मालिकलाई छोडेर आउँछ, तिमीले उसलाई उसको मालिककहाँ फर्काउनु हुँदैन।

16 Let him go on living among you in whatever place is most pleasing to him: do not be hard on him.आफ्नो इच्छा अनुसार उसले कहाँ मन पराउँछ, जुन शहर उसले रोज्छ, त्यही बस्न सकछ। तिमीले उसलाई कष्ट दिनु हुँदैन।

17 No daughter of Israel is to let herself be used as a loose woman for a strange god, and no son of Israel is to give himself to a man.“एक जना इस्राएली स्त्री अथवा पुरूष मन्दिरको वेश्या हुनु सक्तैन।

18 Do not take into the house of the Lord your God, as an offering for an oath, the price of a loose woman or the money given to one used for sex purposes in the worship of the gods: for these two things are disgusting to the Lord your God.त्यस पुरूष अथवा स्त्रीले कमाएको धन परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरको निम्ति पुर्याउनु हुँदैन, त्यस्तो कार्यबाट कमाएको धन परमप्रभुकोलागि उपयोग गर्नु हुँदैन।

19 Do not take interest from an Israelite on anything, money or food or any other goods, which you let him have:“जब तिमीहरूले कुनै अर्को इस्राएलीलाई ऋण दिन्छौ, उसबाट ब्याज तिमीहरूले लिनु हुँदैन। त्यो ऋण खानेकुरा पैसा अथवा जे पनि होस्।

20 From men of other nations you may take interest, but not from an Israelite: so that the blessing of the Lord your God may be on everything to which you put your hand, in the land which you are about to take as your heritage.तिमीहरूले आफ्नो इस्राएली भाइलाई दिएको ऋणमा ब्याज लगाउनु हुँदैन तर कुनै विदेशीलाई दिएको ऋणमा ब्याज लगाउन सएछौ किनभने परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले दिनुभएको भूमिमा प्रवेश गर्नु लागेको छौ अनि तिमीहरूले जे गर्छौ त्यसमा परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले आशीर्वाद दिनुहुन्छ।

21 When you take an oath to the Lord, do not be slow to give effect to it: for without doubt the Lord your God will make you responsible, and will put it to your account as sin.“परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरलाई चढाउँछु भनी जे भाकल गर्छौ त्यो चढाउनमा ढिलो नगर किनभने परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले त्यो दावी गर्नुहुन्छ र यदि आफूले गरेको भाकल पूरा गर्न नसके तिमीलाई पाप लाग्नेछ।

22 But if you take no oath, there will be no sin.तर यदि भाकल गरेका छैनौं भने त्यो पाप लाग्ने छैन।

23 Whatever your lips have said, see that you do it; for you gave your word freely to the Lord your God.तर आफूले गर्छु भनेको कुरो पूरा गर्नै पर्छ। यदि कुनै विशेष कुरो चढाउँछु भनी विषेश भाकल गरे त्यो तिमीहरूले पूरा गर्नु नै पर्छ। परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूलाई भाकल गर्न लगाउनु भएको होइन, यसकारण आफूले गरेको भाकल पुरा गर्नै पर्छ।

24 When you go into your neighbour's vine-garden, you may take of his grapes at your pleasure, but you may not take them away in your vessel.“जब तिमी कसैको दाखबारी भएर जान्छौ तिमीले जति खान सकछौ त्यहीं टिपेर खान सकछौ तर आफ्नो डालोमा हालेर घर लान सकदैनौ।

25 When you go into your neighbour's field, you may take the heads of grain with your hand; but you may not put your blade to his grain.जब तिमी अरू मानिसको अन्नको खेत भएर कतै जान्छौ तिमीले सकेको अन्न टिपेर खान सकछौ तर हँसियाले अन्न काटेर घर लिएर जान सकदैनौ।
