त्यस समयमा कुनै विशेष कामको निम्ति परमप्रभुले लेवी कुललाई अरू कुलबाट छुट्याउनु भयो। तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुका करारको सन्दूक बोक्ने काम गर्नु पर्थ्यो। आजसम्म चल्दै आए झैं तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको पूजाहारी काम पनि गरे परमप्रभुको नाउँमा तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूलाई आशीर्वाद पनि दिनु पर्थ्यो।
