Amos 3 - YLT (Nepali)

1 Hear ye this word that Jehovah hath spoken concerning you, O sons of Israel, concerning all the family that I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying:हे इस्राएलीहरुहो! यो समचार जो परमप्रभुले मिश्रबाट उहाँले ल्याउनु भएका तिम्रा परिवार र तिमीहरुको विरुद्ध भन्नु भएकोछ।

2 Only you I have known of all families of the land, Therefore I charge on you all your iniquities.“विभिन्न धेरै परिवारकामानिसहरुले पृथ्वी भरिनेछ। तर ती मध्ये केवल तिमीहरुलाई मैले चिनेकोछु र बिशेष ध्यान दिएकोछु तर तिमीहरु मेरो विरुद्धमा खडा भयौ। यसकारण, मतिमीहरुका सबै पापहरुका निम्ति तिमीहरुलाई दण्ड दिनेछु।”

3 Do two walk together if they have not met?दुइ जनाको आपसमा सहमत् नभए सम्म संग-संगै हिडन सक्तैनन्।

4 Roar doth a lion in a forest and prey he hath none? Give out doth a young lion his voice from his habitation, If he hath not caught?के बुढो सिंह जङ्गलमा आफ्नो शिकार पाउनअघि गर्जन्छ? के जवान सिंह शिकार नसमातिकन गुफा भित्र गर्जन्छ?

5 Doth a bird fall into a snare of the earth, And there is no gin for it? Doth a snare go up from the ground, And prey it captureth not?जबसम्म तिमीले जालमा चारो हाल्दैनौ चरापक्रनु सक्दैनौ। अनि जब जाल माथिउठ्छ यसले चराहरु पक्रनेछ।

6 Is a trumpet blown in a city, And do people not tremble? Is there affliction in a city, And Jehovah hath not done `it'?के युद्धको तुरहीको ध्वनी सुनेर मानिसहरु डराउँदैनन्? अनि यदि शहरमा कष्टहरु आउँछ भनेत्यो परमप्रभुद्वारा पठाइएको हो।

7 For the Lord Jehovah doth nothing, Except He hath revealed His counsel unto His servants the prophets.मेरा स्वामी परमप्रभुले सबै कुरा गर्न सकनु हुन्छ। तर केहिगर्नु अघाडी उहाँले आफ्नो सेवक अगमवक्तालाई योजना देखाउनुहुन्छ।

8 A lion hath roared -- who doth not fear? The Lord Jehovah hath spoken -- who doth not prophesy?यदि कुनै सिंह र्गजियो भने मानिस अवश्य नै डराउँछ भने यदि परमप्रभु बोल्नु हुन्छ भने, उहाँको सूचना घोषणा गर्न कसले उहाँलाई रोकन सक्छ?

9 Sound ye unto palaces in Ashdod, And to palaces in the land of Egypt, and say: Be ye gathered on mountains of Samaria, And see many troubles within her, And oppressed ones in her midst.अश्दोद र मिश्रका किल्लाहरुमा यो वचन घोषणा गर, “सामरियाका पहाडहरुमा आऊ। त्यहाँ तिमीले गोलमाल पाउँनेछौ। किन? किनभने त्यहाँ अपराध गरिएकोछ।

10 And they have not known to act straightforwardly, An affirmation of Jehovah, Who are treasuring up violence and spoil in their palaces.तिनीहरु एकअर्कामा सहीतरिकाले बाँच्न जान्नदैनन्। तिनीहरुले तिनीहरुको किल्लामा डकैती र लुटेका मालहरु थुपार्छन्।”

11 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: An adversary -- and surrounding the land, And he hath brought down from thee thy strength, And spoiled have been thy palaces.यसकारण परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “त्यो देशमा एकजना शत्रु आउनेछ, त्यो शत्रुले तिमीहरुको सुरक्षा कुल्चिन्छ। उसले तिमीहरुको चिज लिएर जानेछ जुन आफ्नोकिल्लामा लुकाएर राखेका छौ।”

12 Thus said Jehovah: As the shepherd delivereth from the lion's mouth Two legs, or a piece of an ear, So delivered are the sons of Israel, Who are sitting in Samaria on the corner of a bed, And in Damascus `on that of' a couch.जसरी गोठालोले सिंहको मुखबाट थुमा बचाउँदा उसको दुई खुट्टा र एउटा कान मात्र बचाउन सकला, त्यसरी नै विलासीपूर्ण सोफामा र रेशमी ओछ्यानहरुमासुत्ने सामरियामा बस्ने इस्राएली मानिसहरु मध्ये कोहि मात्र सुरक्षित रहने छन्।

13 Hear ye and testify to the house of Jacob, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, God of Hosts.मेरा स्वामी सर्वशक्तिमान परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यो कुरा भन्नु हुन्छ, “याकूब को घरनाका मानिसहरुलाई यो कुराहरुको चेतावनी देऊ।

14 For in the day of My charging the transgressions of Israel on him, I have laid a charge on the altars of Beth-El, And cut off have been the horns of the altar, And they have fallen to the earth.परमप्रभुले न्याय दिनेदिनमाम इस्राएललाई उसका पापहरुको लागि दण्ड दिनेछु। म बेतेलका वेदी ध्वंश गरिदिनेछु र समस्त वेदी भुँइमाखस्ने बनाउँछु।

15 And I have smitten the winter-house with the summer-house, And perished have houses of ivory, And consumed have been many houses, An affirmation of Jehovah!म र्गमिमा बस्ने निवास स्थानकासाथै शीतकालिन निवास स्थान पनि नष्ट पारिदिनेछु। अनि हात्तीको दाँतले बनाएका घरहरु पनि नष्ट गरिदिनेछु, धेरै घरहरु नष्ट गरिने छ।” परमप्रभु भन्नु हुन्छ।
