तर धेरै मानिसहरू जजसले पत्रुस र यूहन्नाको समाचार सुनेका थिए, तिनीहरू विश्वासी बनिए। यसर्थ अहिले त्यहाँ प्रायः पाँच हजार पुरूषहरू विश्वासीहरूको हूलमा थिए।
